I give AIEEE exam and score 60 marks i opt for this college because it is good reputated college in our area.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have done B.Tech in computer science & engineering and course duration is 4 year containing 8 semesters of 6 month each and 1 one semester is of industrial training.

Internships Opportunities

I have not so good internship experience as i can't get any. I think average stipend they offer is around 8000 as few students get more and few gets less from this.

There is good placement and job opportunities as number of companies comes to our college and also our college organize job fair companies comes are grazitti interactive tm,tcs etc. They offer package around 2.5 lak to 3.5 lak.

There are number of events celebrated in our college tarannum is our college annual function and also there are annual function of each particular stream. All function are organized by students and a famous celebrity come in this function.

As i remember it was my life's best part and i can't forget any single memory. As there is also athletic meet every year in which no of students participate.

As now we left our college still we are in contact with college staff and also with other fellow students and if they conduct any placement drive they call us.

As there is semester system so two times final exam come in a year and also there are monthly test conducted in every semester and also there are number of labs with sufficent equipment.

College faculty is experienced and supportive too as they teach us as a teacher and also help us at every stage as a friend. As i think every teacher is dedicated to their profession.

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

I didn't apply for other colleges. I chose this college as it was near my hometown and there were circumstances which prevented me from going too far from home. That's why, I chose this college. The admission process is simple. You need to have passed your senior secondary education in any central and state board. Exams accepted are JEE Mains and Board examinations.
