Remarks

Globsyn business school is one of the best college in Kolkata. I opted for this college because it has good placement, AICTE approved and NBA Accrediation, etc. My 2 years journey was excellent and helped me to learn so many things and make myself industry ready. Faculties are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The only thing which bothered me was the distance as it is far from the city.

Course Curriculum Overview

I did my post graduate diploma in management in finance speciliaztion. The facilities are help helpful and knowledgeable. The facilities are available to help the students outside the class also. Regular assignments and presentation helps us to gain a deep understanding about any particular topic.

Class Size: 178Course Fees: INR 710000 per year

Internships Opportunities

100% support for internship. Some of the companies that offered summer internship during my was- HDFC Bank, Aditya Birla Capital, RS Software, Allahabad Bank, Arohan financials, VIP Industries, Karvy, etc.

Placement Experience

The placement is very good with n no. of opportunities given to each student. Lots of focus is given to groom students and bring best possible out of them. Yes our college do encourage entrepreneurship and startup through Enbryon. Some of the companies are- ICICI Bank, Byjus, PWC, E&Y, kotak life, HDFC life, Jack education, RBL Finserv etc.

Campus Life

We have number of events out of which some are- 1. Titanium- sports 2. Serendipity- live event organised by students itself 3. KYLF- Care for society.

Interview Experience

3.5

4 people were there in the GP round. PI was taken by one of the faculty. My topic for GD round was- "Is India Ready For Cashless Economy".

Honestly college is not very good but yes average

Placements are good sometimes but not exactly sure because some batches are not placed somes are placed or somes are not then they trying to get placement for own if i talk about the percentage of placement then i would say 60% not 100%,for 3rd semester students are eligible for placement & one terms is here that is 75% attendance is mandatory for getting placement, i have visited 3-4 companies & they offer 3.7-4 lpa package,my plan after getting the degree, firstly i looking for a company around 4-5lpa package then i started to develop my self

Honest Review of BIBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Placement Experience:

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

Remarks:

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

Remarks:

Only good remarks I can give for my college, but one bad thing is that it's very far away from my place as I stay in Howrah it took around 2 to 2½ hrs journey for college.

Remarks:

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

Remarks:

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.

MBA Placement experience

Application form is available in their site, instructions are mentioned you just need to follow that. There's no fixed time for the admission process you can enroll till October. GBS accepts Cat, Mat. Along with this they have their own exam which is called as Globysn Aptitude Test (GAT). After Gat if you are shortlisted you'll get a call for G.D and P. I where the faculty takes your GD and PI and after few days more like two to three days you get your result. Coordinators are quite helpful.
