Remarks

Good points: > The college has good infrastructure and teachers. > It gives us the opportunity for going abroad for one semester. > It is approached by top companies during placements. Week point: > The curriculum follows more on theory than practicals. > The exposure to extracurricular activities is less. I opted for Btech CSE after my 12th standard since i was interested in CS, SRM is one of the top private colleges and has a good reputation with the companies. After this course, you will be able to decide which domain you want to select in computer science and work on in the future. A fresher will have the benefit of selecting their field of interest since they have changed the curriculum last year, the seniors in the college are also very helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have studied 50+ courses in this program, the students have the freedom to choose the electives as per their liking. I was also selected for studying abroad one year in Taiwan which I feel is the greatest advantage i received from my college. The faculties are all qualified from reputed institutes.

Internships Opportunities

There are sufficient opportunities for internships, the teachers also share information about the opportunities off-campus, they help everyone get placed in a good company and guide the students well.

Placement Experience

The training for campus placements was very good, the companies approaching are also the top ones. Juniors also have the opportunity of getting internships in the 3rd year of the course.

Campus Life

There are fests conducted now and then however the opportunities are very less. Sports activities are not given much importance.

Rmk collegeof engineering and technology has strong placement with excellent percentage. They will train you from 1st year for the placement. The average package is 5-6Lakhs per annum.and the highest pacakge is 66 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

I applied to many college and got selected too from their entrance exam but since i had no idea about counselling form and got wrong guidance from my professor that's why i was got selected in any of the college, i got good score in MHT CET, COMEDK, AIEEE, VIT and in all due to lack of proper guidance i got the seat but in that field which i don't want.
