Remarks

I came to SRM in hope of learning for my interest field. And I am very much satisfied with the college. There are excellent faculties, lab facilities, nice infrastructure, robust study patterns, an apparent review system, very good student-teacher relationships.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was in Btech Computer science and engineering. Much helpful faculty is there in my department. Teachers are very much helpful and always available to students. A very robust academic pattern is there.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 195000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Besides the placement facilities, internship facilities are also available. Many a companies come with internship oppourtunities come.

Placement Experience

Placement is a very very major or point for SRM. With 300+ companies participating in placements every year, they make sure that you get every opportunity to grt placed as high as you deserve.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is very good. Department buildings and facilities were very good. Every year Texus is held where students voluntarily participate. Also, a 2-floor library is available, where students can issue.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels were very good. Food is very good almost every day of the week. The rooms are clean enough big. Lift facilities are available. 3 hostels including an AC hostel are available. Clean environment and proper surveillance are major pro points for the hostels.

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

The truth of RMD ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Chose SRM University mainly because of its strong reputation in engineering, excellent infray,and placement opportunities.I has applied to a few other private universities like VIT Vellore and Manipal University.while I did get a confirmed admission from one,i felt SRM had a more vibrant campus life,better connectivity to Chennai City, and a strong alumni network. The Student Life at SRM IST

I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida. I cleared both bht I preferred this college over Amity University because of many reasons - fees, cultural activities, student crowd, placement.
