My journey with RILS

This college has been very helpful in building my knowledge as an undergraduate with its state-of-art infrastructure. We get a great exposure here which, I believe, will definitely come hand when we have to face the corporate world in the future.

It is a participant centered approach here, at RILS. This was one successful concept followed in Harvard which has also been a successful model here. Every student is recognized well, we are very well welcome to provide feedback in issues regarding the subjects.

My institute has a very strong placement cell about 70-80% of the students are placed in some good companies, Infosys and Wipro are among some of the companies that visit RILS during placements. We even get internship opportunities.

There are a lot of events celebrated here at RILS. We celebrate cultural events such a Diwali, Onam. Annual fests, AUTUMN MUSE, and annual sports fest (sports fest). Fresher's day called IGNITE and other such fun activities.

The fees for BA LLB is Rs 1,36,000 for the whole year. It is divided into semesters, students finding it difficult to pay the fee can avail educational loan or even have an opportunity to pay the fee amount in from of installments.

The college provides scholarships to meritorious students which might be part of the fee or the whole sum itself. Educational loan can also be availed from any nationalized banks. The college itself helps in availing student loans from specified banks.

We have consistent practical sessions like moot court under well-qualified, experienced faculties wherein we gain a good professional experience. Apart from that we have certain club activities like that of the Rotaract clubs.

Yes, I live in the hostel which is situated inside the campus itself. Boys and girls have separate hostels. It is very a spacious place with Wi-Fi facility, round the clock security system. It has a space to play and relax. The food is very good, it is of both north and south Indian cuisine.

I attended the entrance test conducted by the university itself and cleared it with a decent cut-off. The minimum percentage of the boards is 45% for general category, I got 65%. Scores of other entrance exams like CLAT, LSAT are also taken into account if attended.

The Teachers are well qualified for their roles, every student here is given equal importance. We have interactive sessions with the teachers and practical sessions such as the moot court wherein you get to live the experience of being in a courtroom.
