Nice Engineering College in Kanpur

The structure of the course is in line with the AICTE led parameters and the UGC defined guidelines for a technical course of bachelor of technology in Computer Science. Exams are held in a semester wise manner that is in a given year of study 2 semester examinations are held which are the odd semester examination and the even semester examination. Before the end semester examination evaluations are done in the face of short term test and assignments. In total there are 8 semester in 4 years.

Placement rate of our college is nice. Good number of companies visit each year for campus placement. Majority of the student get placement however if you ask about satisfactory placement than I can say that around 60% students get satisfactory job roles and packages. In case one doesn't like the on campus placement offer there are good opportunities through off campus placement. Many of our seniors got off campus offer better than there on campus ones. in terms of internship I can say that you are on your own as college doesn't provide any internship.

Fee of the colleges is in line with the fee for any private Engineering college in India. One has to pay around 4.5 to 5 lakh for a 4 year engineering program. For the first year I submitted around 1 lakh rupees which included the annual fee, tuition fee and other expenses. The amount can sound big and it is big too however financial assistance can be sought.

Uttar Pradesh State government offers scholarship to the students who are domicile of the state and are from educationally backward or are from reserved categories. The central government also extentends scholarship through the national scholarship portal which is applicable to all the eligible candidates provided they fulfill all the criterias. Apart from that one can look out for the educational loan facility which is offered by most of the public sector and private sector banks.

In terms of extracurricular activities our college has clubs which organise workshop and events from time to time. Events like freshers party, Independence Day celebration, sports meet etc are organised. Infrastructure wise our college is good it has all the necessary facilities that are required to make the learning easier. Labs are also equipped with all the necessary equipments.

I applied for the college based on the UPSEE score. UPSEE is a state level entrance examination for engineering admission in Uttar Pradesh. I also set for the JEE main examination however my score was not good in that so I applied through the state level engineering examination score. in case one has given the JEE mains examination and score good marks then he can directly take admission in the institute without going for the the UPSEE exam. I opted for the college because it is one of the popular College in Kanpur .

The faculty of our college is highly professional and well experienced in their respective subject. Majority of our professors have obtained Ph.D in their respective disciplines. They lay emphasis on providing us the core of the programming and related skill so that we can develop a learning by doing approach. The professor are also very helpful and cooperative.
