For taking admission in b.tech, one has to appear in the GGSIP University common entrance exam. It is in accordance with the norms and guidelines provided by the University. All the students have to appear for the entrance exam conducted but the University. A student is alloted a college on the basis of rank secured by him/her in the qualifying exam.

The classes for b.tech start around 9:10 int the mornings and end at 4:20. The Student schedule is exhausting on campus. Loads of projects and assignment are given.
