Life at SIT

Shanti Institute of Technology has been known as one of the best private institutes in Uttar Pradesh, apart from Professional courses they also have management courses in which too, they excel in providing quality education.

The course structure is very well-built, it focuses on the technicality of the subject which helps us in crucial times like placements. The timetable is well balanced, it gives adequate time for us to relax and do our other co-curricular activities.

SIT has a well-constructed placement cell with trained professionals to give us training in areas which we lack, like some lack in technical aspects and some need personality development, we all are trained alike. HCL is one of our top recruiters.

I am a regular B.tech student (joined after completing my class 12), the fee for B.tech sums up to 3.16 Lakhs, with a tuition fee of Rs. 79,100 for each semester. Fee for lateral entries differs from regular students.

Students who are willing to pay their fees through educational loans are very well allowed to do so. Scholarship details given by the college to meritorious students are mentioned on the official website.

Labs are well-equipped and very useful for us to impart our classroom knowledge. SIT has a policy that helps students in sudden health-related emergencies, known as Mediclaim. The cost is later taken care of by the insurance company.

We have separate hostels for boys and girls, our hostels are well-equipped with all the essential requirements, they are spacious enough for us to play in our free time. We enjoy a multi-cuisine mess and cafeteria at our college.

I got admission to SIT with my UPSEE marks along with my board score. One should have a minimum of 50%, the previous year's cut off is published on the college official website during the time of admissions.

The faculties here are well-trained, knowledgable and, most importantly, approachable, the college has frequently visiting faculties/guest lecturers from whom we get to learn about the practicality of the subjects.
