Remarks

Jemtec is one of the best colleges of greater Noida. It has well-experinced faculty, Very good infrastructure. It has good study environment. The college focuses on extracurricular activities and believes in practical learning. Colleges houses is clean and tasty cafeteria. Separate compounds for girls and boys are present which accommodate indoor games. College has a basketball court.

Course Curriculum Overview

College follows the curriculum provided by the IPU University. Each semester consists of various subjects followed by practicals. combination of theory and practice leads to a clear understanding of the subject. BTech course consist of four years. The curriculum helps in placement.

Placement is overseen by a very helpful placement cell. College prepares students for placement season by performing various sessions as well as seminars. Guest faculties also help in the process.

College Events

College celebrates various no of events such as Star Night. A star night includes a celebrity performing for students as well as charity. They also hold Jim's annual cultural festival "Zest and Dandia". Other and these two big events college also holds various little celebrations.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. Mode of payment accepted is Demand Draft, payment through debit or credit cards. Payment through online banking is also accepted. The program fee for BTech is approx 400000 (4 lakhs only) fee of a single year comes to be 100000 (1 lakh) out of which 85000 is the tuition fee and 15000 consists of other charges.

Fees and Financial Aid

IPU University offers a scholarship on the basis of merit cums means. College regularly updates its students with news regarding scholarship window. management staff facilitates students for applying for the scholorship. IPU provides upto 100% tution fee scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is very cherishing. students are very friendly as well as interactive. Students from various states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh study in the college. Various debate, dance, art competition are held in the college which help in skill development in the students.student as well as staff are very tolerant.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are very helpful. they support there juniors and regularly share their experiences. Various committes are headed by seniors like Rotary Club. Blood donation drives are held by rotary club for the social cause accompanied by tree plantation drive and various others.

Admission

One can get admission in this college by appearing in entrance exam held by IPU university or through JEE mains. After the results are announced of the above exams online counselling is held in three stages each having its own cutoff rank. JEE Mains rank are also valid for taking admission in the college.

Faculty

Faculty of the college is highly experienced as well as professional. The method of teaching is subject is very well established as well as result orienting. Teachers make use of PPt to provide an understanding of the subject in an easy way. Students are given various software courses and Industrial visits are organised from time to time which prove to be informative as well as fun for the students.

Placement Experience:

placements were fine companies that were coming at the college for placements were mostly non tech and tech jobs were very less .Off-campus opportunities were better. i would rate it 2/5 . the companies approaching were also not the best

Likes

All the teachers are highly qualified mostly from IIT and NIT
In the first year the infrastructure is amazing
The teachers are always concerned about the students but their marks Academics and their issues

Dislikes

There is nothing to be disliked everything is going well..

Placement Experience:

The College placements are very awesome like the last year the higher package was 34 lakhs and the average pockets is 5 lakh per annum and 300 + company is a visiting every year and students are getting place in good companies..

Placement is present it depends on the students if a student is capable the college provides 40 to 50 percent students get placed in the companies highest according to me was 35 as I don't no very much whats the highest package avg package is of 7 lpa and min package is 3.5 lpa

Likes

I like my course as it is not available in many colleges in India yet. And the labs and practical conducted by our faculty.
Faculty is friendly and helpful when help is needed and college enroll us in important courses
Habit of enrolling us in intership programs from second year online or offline, so we have a habit of it.

Dislikes

Hostel food are terrible some days and the washroom are dirty .
Restrictions to girls in hostel as girls can't roam in the college hostel after 7pm but boys can roam in the college whole night . Also girls have to get output to go outside but boys doesn't need it.
Buildings are all in a small area , looks more like a school than a college and we have no sitting are in the canteen so we have to sit in the class even in the break hours.

Placement Experience:

Placement of NIET is nice with approx 70% students are getting placed also this year until now 4 students are placed with 40lpa . Companies like infosys, Capgemini, GoDaddy and many more visit the college. Our highest package is 53lpa and average is 6 to 7 lakhs with minimum 4 lakhs. Currently my first goal is getting placed in cyber security domain.

Perfect review for a tier 3 college

Likes

The first year faculties are very supportive, in every aspect and terms they help a lot.
They provide equal opportunities in other field as well like games, hackathons, tournaments, etc.

Dislikes

There are very less number of events organised periodically.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards, students are eligible for the campus placements. All the big companies visit our college like microsoft, amazon, google, accenture, ibm, etc. Percentage of students getting placed is 98%. If a student doesn't gets places either he goes to further studies or for startups.

one of the best things about iiit Lucknow is the senior junior culture senior 8 January approachable and helpful
IIIT Lucknow has developed are reputation for its coding culture competitive programming open source project and hackettrons are deeply immediate
another unique aspect is the gender ratio which is the round one girl for every 2.5 poise compared to take institute is relatively balanced and healthy

Dislikes

compare to other reputed College Lucknow does not have very vibrant fest culture there are fewer culture music
hostel life has its advantages but the dormitories system from 2nd year onward is a big negative for many living with 8 to 12 student
most of faculty members simply come to class 11 lecture and their leave without much interest in melting student or classifying doubts

Placement Experience:

student are eligible for internship from second year and for job placement i think its from 3rd year highest is 1.45crpa avg 33lpa median is 26lpa this year around 201 from 209 get placement to that make around 96 %

College is best for studies and fees affordability, but not for cultural activities.

Likes

The fees of college is very affordable to those students who can't afford the high fees of other college.
The faculties of this college is very supportive and having high academic records i.e. PhD. The faculties have give more efforts to those students who does not have clear basics of their field.
The college provide all labs facilities and Library also, and perform all the activities that give a boost idea to students.

Dislikes

There is striction to leave any classes or go to your own home. Hardly they give leave to students.
The College library opens from 9 am to 4.30 pm and the classes running time is 9 am to 4 pm. If you want to learn in library you won't because the timing is fixed.
There is less cultural activities happens. The one happens that is Rhythm Divine per year.

Placement Experience:

From 7th or 8th semester students are eligible for Campus Placement. IT Companies: Amazon, Cisco, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Genpact, Hexaview, Meditab. Non-IT Companies: TATA Steel, Samsung, Sony India, Coca-cola, IndiaMart, Apollo, Xerox, Organic India, Daffodil, Axis Bank, Piramal Group, Walmart, Siemens. Other Notable Recruiters: Birlasoft, CronJ, Anglo-Eastern, LANCO, GSG. Almost 85 to 90% get placed. My plans should be opt for Mtech.

Companies Visit every semester for placement and training. The student is Eligible for Placement from 4th year ( last year ) . But from 3rd students are eligible for Intership. The placement is very good, Mostly talented students got job easily. The avg package is 6 lpa. And highest is 52 lpa.

Inside Experience of my Time in University

Likes

I really liked learning in the Electrical Workshop. The Smithy Shop and the Welding Shop were my favourites. The Faculty there, were truly very enthusiastic and not stressful. The Electrical Workshop helps us to learn the hands on skills, of labour.
I liked the Cultural Fiesta, which is an Annual Event, where different Artistic, Technical and Sport Activities were prevalent. My favourites were Jam, Debate, Artwork, Basketball, Skits and Corner Plays, Creative Writing Sessions, Onstage activities
I liked the beautiful diversity and greenery of my University, different departments, crossing one another, everyone is friendly with one another. No unnecessary mess, during the class sessions, and there were not any such restrictions while we skip.

Dislikes

I did not like the high fees structure, which surrounded with our Course, as Btech is a vast expanded course, that requires more practical skill mastery, rather than theoretical study. I think the fees structure must be revised for deserving students
The Faculty were pretty knowledgeable, but I guess they did not put their knowledge into full action. Only a few Teachers focused upon enlightening the students with profitable learning. The use of resources and knowledge is indeed must for such.
In comparision to the high fees structure, I realised that the internship and campus placement opportunities were not adequate, to amass all the departments and their students. A Company Campus Pool is not something for both Commerce and Engineering

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.

A genuine review about the college

I chose this college because it's affiliated with ggssipu and the location. I also chose this college because of its placement reviews and faculty reviews. It also has great infrastructure. I applied to many other colleges our of station. And I get into them as well but this was the best option from all of it due to location and ipu. Beyond the classrooms: how JIMS shape students career.

The admission process is very simple. It is done on the basis of your jee rank for btech course. The admission is also done on merit basis based on your class 12 marks in pcm as well as overall. After the jee exam one needs to apply for the separate counselling for ggsipu admissions and then according to the cutoff and one's rank the admission is done. For merit based admission one needs to contact the college administration. I chose this college as it is near to my place plus it does not impose the uniform on students which is a big relief.
