Course Curriculum Overview

M.com is a Post Graduate course for students with a background in commerce. The course curriculum is stretched over a period of 2 years with 4 semesters. The course focuses on business management, finance, accounting and marketing.

Our college prepares us for a world of management and business by training us with all the necessary knowledge of commerce and guidance that will help us strive in the real world and land us good jobs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the 2 year M.Com course in our college is feasible. The fees for each year is Rs 8,590 which sums up to Rs 17,180 for the entire course. The fees is affordable with the comfort of distance education.

Campus Life

Our college conducts various workshops that help us understand commerce and finance and its internal working. They also hold seminars which are very informative and helpful. We also have tree planting activities that helps us develop a sense of responsibility towards our environment.

Admission

For Post Graduate courses in our college, the applicants have to fill out an online form and submit scanned copies of necessary certificates. After which the students will be selected on merit basis and granted admission in the college after the payment of fees at the college.

Faculty

The faculty of our college is very qualified and experienced in their particular branch of teaching. They help us out with excellent study guides and guide us through our projects. They are very supportive.

University of jammu - a great way to learn something new

Course Curriculum Overview:

They have all the necessary things that a student demands to pursue their respective courses. The curriculum prepares students for real-world applications they help to build confidence, and co-ordinate among students The exam duration is 3 hours long and the exam is in 2 shifts- morning and evening which you can't choose.

Review of the University of Jammu for PG Courses

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to choose this course for the accomplishment of higher studies in the commerce stream. The valid faculty: student ratio is 1:30. The qualification of the faculty Professor was Ph.D. with NET/SET and their teaching methodology is demonstrative as well as e-teaching with the help of a smart board through seminars as well. The exam for the Master's degree is conducted twice a day and the level of the exam is moderate to difficult. If someone studies with dedication he/she can easily get 65+ % in the exams.

I was interested in Accountancy that is the reason for choosing M.Com. The teacher-student ratio is 1:8. There is hardly one o two teachers who have new teaching methods. Rest are just there to waste your time. You expect a delay of one or two months per semester exam.

Remarks:

According to me, College is the best college in Jammu for B.com, BBA, M.com, and BCA because of its management, teachers, and staff. This college has the best teachers. The quite bad aspect of this college is its small campus but I think, study matters more than the size of the campus. The admission process was held online as well as offline. I prefer this college to everyone because this is well managed, organized, and maintained college. All the teachers are perfect.

Admission:

The admission is done on the basis of your scores of undergraduate. Only two streams are allowed to take up this majors: B.Com or BBA. I was from the B.Com batch with third university rank. I got the admission very easily.

The Directorate has proper infrastructure in the form of halls for Personal Contact Programme (PCP), seminar presentation, viva-voce and counseling sessions. Directorate of Distance Education has also established a network of UG Learners Support Centres at Rajouri, Kathua, Udhampur, Bhaderwah, Poonch, Doda, Kishtwar to ensure effective academic and administrative support to distance learners.
