Remarks

I completed my B.Sc Multimedia Animation & Graphics from Srajan Institute of Gaming Multimedia and Animation. I learnt a wide variety of techniques and skills here from the faculties which turned out to be quite useful to me and the facilities provided here helped me practice and learn things better. My overall experience at college was very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is quite good and most of the focus of the course is on grooming the practical aspects of a student. Different techniques and methodologies were included in the course and taught to us, which were quite useful and essential in the field.

Placement Experience

4

The college has a good placement record, most of the students are placed at good organisations, some are working for different government campaigns and some are working or building their own startups.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is quite feasible, the fee for my B.Sc Multimedia Animation and Graphics was 2.7lakhs for whole course duration of 3years. I found the fee to be good for the quality education and facilities provided at the college.

Campus Life

4.5

The college has well-equipped labs with good GPUs, to help students practice the best way possible without being limited by the system specifications they work on. A dedicated system is allotted to each student at the campus, recording their individual progress. The college library is also quite good and has a wide variety of books equipped.

Admission

The admission to the college is based on 12th aggregate. Also, the admission is on a first come first serve basis. I got admission here to pursue my career in animation. I took admission in B.Sc Multimedia Animation & Graphics, to make a career in the field of animation and graphic designing.

Faculty

5

The faculty of the college is quite good. The faculties always focused on delivering the best education to us and were quite friendly. The teachers were quite skilled and pretty much experienced in this field which helped us alot in our course duration as the teachers easily cleared our queries and doubts as much possible. The course followed a semester-based approach, so the exams were held at end of each semester.

Many companies come and give opportunities for students to get jobs and internships but it depends on how smart a student is if they want to get a proper job or anything related to it. It's pretty good and students have good opportunities.

Students become eligible for campus placements in their 3rd year. They get summer internships and can do freelance work as well. Companies such as Infosys, Cognizant, Whirlpool, etc. recruit students from SID. The average package is around 10 LPA with the highest for this year being around 18 LPA. As of 2022, the percentage of students getting placements is 100%. As an animation student, I have various options to explore such as VFX Artist, Cartoonist, Visual Storyteller, etc. after my degree.

Placement Experience:

We are allowed to find internships and work on our own amidst this Covid situation. At the end of the our last year, we have a final project through which we have to cumulate all our knowledge and based on that we get our degree and our portfolio is built. There are on campus recruiting, where many renowned companies have come for placements. There is a 100% placement record maintained by our alumni. The highest pack was bagged by a student with over 30,000 /- per month. My plans are to work in a production studio where I can work closely with designers in game production, movie production and digital design.
