It aims at imparting quality education at affordable prices and it is equipped with all the necessary technology and practical approach to teach the subject making it a holistic learning experience for students

Course Curriculum Overview

The institute gives its students a practical learning experience in Art and Craft of film making. It is a certification full time course of 6 months where the students are trained rigorously to understand various techniques of editing, necessity of it, basics of screen techniques, developing a story, writing a script and other technical aspects involved.

Placement Experience

With more and more shift towards digitalization, modernisation of technology and the trend of film making being so prominent is that content is consumed a lot, people watch films, short films, documentaries, movies etc and hence, there is an increased demand of professionals who can possess technical knowledge to achieve what is expected to communicate to the audience hence the opportunities are booming in this industry one can become film maker, editor, assist a director, ad film maker etc.

The institute aims at giving quality education at affordable prices to its students hence the fees structure is very reasonable given that it imparts such technical skill development course for such a reasonable fees, it is around Rs.35-4000 for the whole course duration

Digital academy the film school is a private institute. Admissions are given based on relevant industry experience or through counselling based on rank in JEE advanced. Hence the students must appear for an interview or possess a relevant work experience.

I like that my colleg is better in management which is good for every student of the college in the sence
Some times management also fails for doing some things which are not big things because there are some technical issues
College hepls every student in the issues sometime it takes time but the solve tue problems of every students

Dislikes

I dislike that some times college staf is just listining not doing any thing
They should help every student with the responsible things for
That why students dislike some things in the college management

There are companies which comes through the college and help out the students with their placements from the companies it has every singel test how students perform in their task and skills that how the placement is described

Likes

Kalamandal (like theatre club), it’s a different world and it’s magical.
December to March is the college fests time and it’s super lively and fun
Psychology, Sociology & Philosophy departments have amazing professors. They’re smart, helpful and actually care for their students

Dislikes

Except for Psyc, Socio& Philo other departments are awful specially the English department. The HOD herself speaks horrible English and doesn’t even know any books of jane Austin besides pride and prejudice.
The toilets are horrible and never clean and are barely open even. The canteens are also okayish at most.
The management and accounts department are horribly slow

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's good, it's fun and I enjoy it. It changes every sem and that's why we also get to explore more of the subjects. It also depends on the professor tho. First year is to chose 6 different subjects and explore. Then second year you get to choose one major and two minors. Major are then divided into 3 parts, the 2 minor subject are elaborated and one compulsory subject which is English, this continues for third year. There are 2-3 additional subjects that change every sem too like PE, EVS, etc.

Remarks:

For a person who into music production this is the best course and College but any other music field consider other options. The administration is too poor and are harsh on the students but the teaching faculty is supportive.

For getting admission, I visited the college and fill the form received from the admission counter which is generally released in the first or second week of the June and submitted the form after filling in and signing it duly and submitted it to the same counter(which can also be submitted till the third week of the June) and so I got admission.

NO need of any entrance test to go for this course .Bachelors of arts . This college is known with good teaching faculty for arts. All it had a good ambiance, parking facility and good crowd from different parts of pune and all over maharashtra.i will recommend this college to every new student.
