Sree Narayana College, Kannur is one of the biggest institutions of higher education in Kannur District. The College was founded in the name of His Holiness Sree Narayana Guru, the greatest saint and social reformer. Entrance Preview
My course was "Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA)", My score was almost 78%.I was not a bright student, but this college made me better.
Internships Opportunities
As I said above , my college is not a big one . Like not a universal one. It is available only in Kerala state. They don't provide any internship offers. SN college's most of the students are within a few KM distance.
Placement Experience
There was no placement opportunities available at that time. I was on my own to find a job , and I am able to find it. Thanks to SN college for giving me a better future, but I am not happy about they didn't provide a campus interview.
College Events
We did have events like annual college day. It was the most fun month.Preparation from programs. Co-ordinations , funding everything. Teachers provide us a lot of support and we will always be thankful tot hem.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There was no fee. Yes true , SN college was under trust which is supported by government. The primary aim was to provide better education for everyone without spending much money.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not offered any loans by college , may be they did to poor students.There was scholarship option available , but they are from external agencies. They did provide scholarship in cast basis.
Campus Life
It was the best 3 years in my life. any student who spend time in SN college will say the same . I am sure , because that is how they treat the students.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni Association of the college is a well organized one with a constitution started functioning in the academic year 2002-03. in which all the hitherto teaching and non-teaching staff of the college were participated. It was a great success. Nattika Sree Narayana College Alumni Association has various chapters at different countries such as UAE, Qatar and Doha.
Exam Structure
SN college didn't put pressure on students to get the best mark, they did provide enough days in between exams to get ready. Most times harder subjects will have exams at first and easier subjects at the end.
