The course duration is of one year consisting of 2 semesters. It aims at training the personnel in design and manufacture of jigs, fixtures, moulds etc., By the end of course, the institute hopes that the students are well versed in designing and production.

The students are trained and skilled in a way that they'll get placements as soon as the course work is over. Internships are also provided by the college depending upon the course undertaken. However, internship isn't provided in this course.
