Course Curriculum Overview

B.Arch course is of 5 years, spread across 10 semesters. While first three years are mostly focused on theoretical i.e., classroom training, last two years are more rigorous with one semester being focused on professional training, mainly the 7th semester.

Placement Experience

The college provides placement opportunities to its students. Also, there's a mandatory internship of 6 months the stipend of which varies depending on the posting of he student. It can be INR 10000 or more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for B.Arch is pretty expensive. It costs INR 400000 per year which makes it a total of INR 2000000 for a duration of 5 years. Its pretty much a cost to be paid by students from middle class families.

Fees and Financial Aid

100% Scholarship facility is provided to students who rank top 5 in the combination of the entrance test and personal interview as set by the college. For students securing 76-96% aggregate in the same pay INR 100000 annually, aggregate between 61-75% pay INR 200000 and students in 51-60 category pay INR 300000 as their fees annually.

Campus Life

Sports activities such as track and field events, swimming,cricket, kabbadi, etc, dance, gym, debates, etc are conducted throughout the year as it is an integral part of personality development of a student.

Admission

To secure admission, first candidate needs clear his 10+2 in science stream. Then, he'll have to sit for NATA/JEE 2 examination, where main paper 2 is Arch & planning and then sit for CEAT aptitude test followed by personal interview, post which based on scores selection is done.

Faculty

The faculties are well learned and educated people. They guide the students the best way they know and also give them pointers before their work is presented before the jury, which is a crucial part of architecture course.

The placements in our campus for B Tech students in definitely top 5 in this country. Salaries averagin at 20 lpa has been the standard for the past few years. The placements for architecture are a little glim, but I guess that's the case everywhere

Architecture amidst serene greenery

Course Curriculum Overview:

The duration of the course is 5 years with 10 semesters in total. I think this is good period of time to learn architecture. Each semester has five theory subjects and one design subject. The design subject deals with designing buildings with given brief without any plagiagrism. The other five theory subjects are quite easy other than the subjects that involves maths, which requires practice and learning. all the nine semesters are quite conceptualized, whereas the internship semester gives an idea on how the real world of architecture industry works. Though the syllabus is old all over india, it might be for betterent if the practical learning is involved in all semesters.

ONE OF THE BEST CAMPUS AMONGST ALL NITs. NIT TRICHY.

Placement Experience:

Placement happens in the fourth year before the final semester. Multiple companies offers jobs like Google, Amazon, Instagram etc. Average salary package is around 50LPA 95 percent of students get placed in average There is no campus placement for architecture.
