Chandigarh University

To be honest Chandigarh University is not just a University but a whole different world. It's a place where you learn, grow, find yourself. I'm grateful to be a part of this University.

Our Industry oriented curriculum is comparable with World's Top Universities. Also, we have a credit-based system. There are a visits organised to various places time to time for practical knowledge and learning. We have Assignments, Projects, Practicals, Research papers to submit in each semester in which our professors guide us.

I'm in the first year and I have not yet availed internships. But my seniors have shared wonderful experiences of their internship with me. In the year 2018 627 Companies visited the University. Also companies like Google, Microsoft, Apollo, IBM, Amazon visit for the placements.

Chandigarh University is the most happening campus! There are a lot of events held in the university where celebrities and famous people are also invited. Example- CU Fest, AIU National Fest, Sunburn Campus, Fresher's party, Tashan Nights, CU Parade and a lot more.

I believe Chandigarh University is affordable and gives you a good life and learning in an affordable amount. My fees are 40,000/yr (BA+B.ED) which is accepted online, in cash or cards. There are no additional charges for securing Admission or anything, everything is transparent and necessary here.

I have not available for any scholarships. But Chandigarh University provides scholarship like COVID- Warrior Scholarship, CUCET Scholarship exam by the University.

Chandigarh University has an amazing campus with a sports complex, Food Republic (Domino's, Subway and so many other food joints) We have a beautiful fountain where music events are held sometimes, a huge ground where amazing events like Tashan Nights, fresher's are organized. We have competitions in department and University level eg- Dance, music, debate, poetry, writing, open mic etc.

Hostel facility is good. The security, Mess food' quality and the cleanliness is very good. Each hostel has its own ground, mess, tuck shop, parlour, medical room, laundry facility. I stay in 3 seater AC room, nicely furnished. There are also cooler rooms available.

As a fresher, I would say that my seniors have been a blessing to me. They have guided me about everything I asked for, exams, syllabus, projects etc.

I got to know about the University by social networking site. I want to become a teacher and when I saw that Chandigarh University offers BA+B.ED Integrated course with affordable fees, good curriculum, amazing placement records, beautiful campus I didn't give it a second thought. My admission procedure was completely online with the help of the guidance of Parmeet ma'am.

In my course, we have 6-7 lectures a day of 50 minutes each. My professors have done a PhD and are highly knowledgeable in their respected fields. Professors at my University are always ready to guide students. Their vast knowledge and practical teaching methods have helped me learn better and more.
