Remarks

The management was good but because of the mandal commission we could not focus on studies.

Entrance Preview

CET was the common examination ehich everyone took. Manipal medical Institute because I was really interested in pursuing medical as my career. And it was the best college at that time

It was very good but there were a lot of holidays at that time because of mandal commission. 3/4th of the year was holidayEven the resuls were given abruptly.

Internships Opportunities

Indo American Seeds Had come to our college to offer us. Rs. 5000 was to be given for the internship there. We did not hav any internship as such buecause of the prolems

We did not opt for the internship so we did not have any internship. The company was good but we did not go thereThere were lot of problems going on that time

College Events

College had a lot of sports events and festivals. I was a part of the basketball team of our college. We won many matches and had a great competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was a bit costly but my parents were eligible to pay the amount of fees. I also worked to earn some money.

I had got a sports scholarship

Labs were good. There were sports facilities like basketball court and a ground. We had a great basketball team

I did not stay in the hostel as I could travel to college which was in the same city.

The seniors were also happy and they didnt do any ragging as such.

Exam Structure

It was difficult for us to gice exams because the college was closed half the year and we did not get proper coaching in college.

Faculty

It was not exactly satisfactory but it wasnt bad either. Classes were not conducted half the year But the teachers were very knowledgeable and cooperative

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i choose is bsc because of the different subjects in this course it has electronics and computer science . The curriculum prepares me by special courses and the new ways of teaching. The methods of teaching is good but we need new ways like learning with games. The timing of exam is 3 hours for eights marks, and the difficulty is the benches are not comfortable

Peaceful College And Campus Life

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students get eligible for campus placement, No of companies such as Cipla, infosys,accenture, TCS, wipro, Icici bank have visited our college, provide placements and 90% students get placed in reputed companies. My plan after finishing my Bsc ,i will opting for MSc Biotechnology, then a PhD.I will become a professor.

My journey in Christ University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
