Remarks
college is quite average I would say, as if you're somewhat average student and have that kind of money you can go for it as the college has a brand value and also works on its students and the course they put a lot of efforts but not a lot on overall value development, in short of you're an above average student with good marks you should consider other options nor this college is decent but quite expensive
Course Curriculum Overview
course is not very innovative, it's an average graduate course, if one is interested you get to learn a foreign language in the second year. course is focused towards managing business with international relations (imports/exports). at first it starts with business in the country and gradually it moves to international business
Placement Experience
placements are quite decent, it's like if the candidate really wants and prepares professionally, there would be a lot of opportunities, not very great job profiles, but you would get a job.
College Events
as MIT is a group of institutions, a lot of events go on round the year, specific to MITSOM College the annual fest is named ENTHUSIA it has all sorts of fun activities with a lot of other colleges participating and events like Standup and cultural shows are also organized. different clubs are also there according to one's interests that conduct different activities from time to time
Fee Structure And Facilities
As I'm an alumni graduated in 2019 and was the last batch of Pune University our fees was roughly 85k a year, now the institution has gone private and the fees has shot up in the range of 2-2.5lacs a year, and the college does not provide lodging facilities, additional charges apart from fees are only during exams as they charge for exam forms that are in the range of 2k per semester
Fees and Financial Aid
scholarships are generally not available here and I didn't take a loan, but they would guide you if one needs a loan
Campus Life
campus is well built and you get a good vibe, gender ratio is equally divided. there are various cultural societies according to one's interests, to name a few Dance, drama, Entrepreneur, art, etc. now a days as the college has gone to being private university and the fees has gone almost tripled, the students crowd has also changed as the current crowd is from the rich families and not a very brainy crowd as the college is not very focused towards students grades earlier.
Alumni/Alumna
they aren't very helpful, we never get to meet any alumni, in fact if you're not involved in any clubs you wouldn't even get to meet your seniors as hostels are nit there the college gets quite centered towards the people in your batch
Admission
First one needs to fill out the application form then take an entrance examination held across the country followed by an interview you would get the results in a few days, and the admission is based on entrance and interview points solely not on 12th grades
Faculty
there would be around 10 lecturers in the course, pretty qualified, average age of 45, few lecturers had industry experience too. lectures happen daily and teachers puts efforts into students. teaching quality is good according to the course structure.
