Remarks

I'm completely satisfied with every aspect of my college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Its completely scientific and strategic. We study a total of 18 subjects in 5. 5 years like vety. anatomy, pathology, biochemistry, surgery etc. we have to appear in 3 internal assesments and 1 external assesment per proffessional year. After each internal assessment, the copies are shown to the students.

Placement Experience

4.5

Ours is a proffessional college, in 5. 5 year programe, 4. 5 years study + 1 year of internship. The interns work in different departments of the college and clinics like surgery, medicine, pathology, animal farms etc. thus we gain thorough practical knowledge of our field. After degree we have a lot of opportunities like working as a veterinary surgeon in govt. and private sectors, pursuing post grad., working in nutrition industry, in public health sector etc.

College Events

3.5

Freshers party for the freshers, its a festival in itself running for around 1 month during which interaction and preprations take place. Annual fuction, I which various events take place and scholars are awarded. Various competitions like poster making, debate etc. Cultural interuniversity, Sports interuniversity, farewell, conference of indian society of veterinary surgeons.

Fee Structure And Facilities

fees is just minimal like any govt college. Aprrox. 50k/year. there is No, additional fees to be paid. there is comolete transparency in fee structure. Any citizen of the country can afford the fee. as far as the mode of payment is concerned, it is via debit card.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, my college provide merit based scholarships to the top 25% of the students from each batch based on their previous year's cgpa.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio is approx. 50-50, students mostly come from haryana as there is 85% state quota, still there are 15% students from various states and some NRIs also. All the labs are well equiped. Various competitions are being organised fron time to time.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, I am a hostlers and the facilities are very good. there are suffiicients seats for everyone who desires to opt for the hostel. During 1st and 2nd year students have to share rooms but in 3rd, 4th and final year we are given individual rooms.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the seniors are very much helpful. In fact, the Dr. sanjeev Balyan is an alumi of our college who is the fisheries and animal husbandry minister. Seniors provide much needed guidance.

Admission

I had always aspired to be a veterinarian and serve the inNo,cent speechless creatures. It is one of the No,blest proffessions according to me. I appeared in "all india pre veterinary test (AIPVT) 2016" in which I secured 501 AI rank with 492/720 marks. Then I got admission in luvas thourough state counciling.

Faculty

4

We have highly experienced as well as young and energetic doctors and scientists as our teachers. They are like the wizards of their respective subjects be it clinical, para clinical or No,n clinical. Most of our teachers are P. hd holders and some of em have done even post doctrate. I couldnt have asked for a better faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the curriculum. It is very systematic and interesting. It makes the course more engaging with the distribution of subjects and everything. The theory and practicals are so interesting. If a student tries to relate, they can certainly get a lot of knowledge for real world and operations The teaching methods are also good. It would be nicer if practical knowledge was provided in 1st 2nd and 3rd year but it is usually not given in any college for veterinary so it's not something wrong. The exam date timings are not bad, usually there is gap of around 1 to 1.5 month between each internal exam and then there are prep leaves for external exams. The only sad part is that it takes a lot of time since each subject has 2 exams for externals with syllabus divided.
