Remarks

The college management is bad in one aspect. They do not inform when the fees need to be paid on time and communication is not as effective.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is very interesting and the college helps it by keeping relevant classes. Every year the students also get opportunities to do research oriented papers and are also guided by the faculty really well. The faculty is very friendly but professional at the same time. There are exams every two months after each small block gets over which helps students to get a better grasp of each topic.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are viewed as an engineering college prospect as for medical students the process is different. We have to write another entrance exam after we finish our bachelors. Our college provides various mediums thourough which a student can study for these various exams and succeed. For example, they provide classes in the library for students to prepare for the USMLE exam.

College Events

4

We have a cultural fest every year followed by a sports fest. A cricket tournament every year is a must in our college. It also flaunts an All India undergraduate medical conference which is very useful and is conducted by highly skilled faculty. There is paramedic conference also which attracts students from all over.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is expensive and a lot of people will be apprehensive but the fees is justifiable. The infrastructure and the equipment in the hospital and college are world class. The faculty are also highly qualified professors with years of experience. This makes the fees justifiable but to be honest, it is quite high.

Fees and Financial Aid

They did give options but the bank we preferred was not available, so we did it separately. The payment notice is usually on time but they do not communicate effectively which is my only complaint.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio leans more towards the female side. The sports facilities are world class as we have one of Asias best sports training centre called the CSS. The campus is tolerant to all castes, gender, and races as there is a lot of diversity. Parties and societies are subject to the student’s interest and there are a lot of societies. There are workshops organised frequently which gives students a chance to explore their interests. It’ll be hard for Indians who do not belong to the south to adjust but after a month they will feel right at home.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, I have opted for hostel. The hostel provides sharing or single rooms depending on your requirement, but for MBBS students single rooms are compulsory. The hostel room have a cot, cupboard, bathouroom and a shelf included.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very friendly and become your friends slowly and our campus is a ragging free zone.

Admission

I chose this course because I love Biology. This was close to my passion so I wrote my NEET exam and I got a decent score. After that I applied thourough All India Quota and got a seat in this deemed college. My score was 450. They first make you fill your details and help you get admission in a systematic manner. It was a streamlined process and they called all of us well in advance.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is adequate and highly qualified. The important classes are taken by the experienced faculty whereas a few easy topics are taken by new professors for experience. Usually the professors are around 40-45 years of age and have a strong hold on the subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very extensive and there are 18 subjects to study split over a period of 5 years which includes internship also. Though the curriculum is vast it is a scared job that has motivated me to choose this course. The curriculum and teaching methods help us in treating patients and improving our academics. Improvements that can be made includes improving the patient exposure and communication skills with practical expertise. The exams are conducted yearly once, with the paper being moderate to difficult. There should be more clinical orientation to improve clinical skills rather than only studying books and improving knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally like science so i took up this course. The college prepares you very well for the real world. By the end of the 5years you would become a full fledged doctor. The current teaching methods are fine but more of mcqs should be concentrated rather than theory writing. According to me the internals are fine but the university exams are very difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Competency Based Medical Education (CBME) is pretty relevant to today's needs of a doctor, with more competency based skill learning and regular assessment of students, along with subjects like attitude, ethics and communication skills, pandemic modules etc. The only disadvantage is it still has a few redundant systems such as record maintenance etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a doctor, I can help people a lot. There is a lot to study and knowing the human body, to cure disease, and much more is a great experience. The curriculum prepares me to do great in my future endeavors. The thing I think they lack is a bit more clinical exposure for all students separately. Teaching methods are all good. They conduct exams after each important section, they teach. Around 6-7, internal exams are kept.

Speaking about positive remarks the teaching is very good, faculties are the best, the college campus is away from the city rush. I am talking about the negative remarks the hospital is about three kilometres from the college, the food is just average, the place don't have any major attractions, lack of greenery.
