About the course

Our college ihas a poor management regarding classes and studies but the teaching provided by the collegee is good.

The course curriculum comprises of the subjects which are related to the food and crops.Some subjects are related to the crop production and its management and some of the subjects are of food processing and technology and food preservation.In technology and processing various machines and techniques are studied and on preservation microbiology is studied and storage of food is studied.

In our college various food industries and firms like Nestle,Mother dairy,Amul fed,Saras dairy etc comes to give campus placement

Our college presently does bot conduct any technical or cultural program because our affiliation from ICAR is cancelled 2 years before.But even though some programes related to cultural or management are conducted by our college.In these programes technical and managerial skills are tested.

Our college has 2 fee structures- one is for government aided seats and other one for payment seats.For government aided seats the average fee for the year is around 45000 and 90000 for payment seat students.Additional fee for book bank is charged from us.yes, there is a complete transparency in the fee structure.

Yes the college provide us scholarship.The students wo belongs to schedule cast and schedule tribe are given scholarship in which no tution fee is there.Also the toppers of the semester and year are given cash prize to encourage them and motivate them to perform better.

The campus life is good.We really enjoy the college life.It is a blend of studies,friends, chillimg time etc. And we all enjoy it a lot.The gender ratio is quiet big.In our college there are a few girls as compared to boys.We have boy to girl ratio of about 10:1.The labs are not proper and they need to be maintained.

No I am localite.I have my oen house and i live with my family.Our college has seperate hostel for boys and girls.In boys hostel,the facilities of room is quite good but there is a need for improving the quality and standard of living and in girls hostel the same point repeats.

Our alumni network is very strong.We have very helpful seniors who guide us regarding the studies, courses,books and study material, internship, training and placements. We have very helpful seniors.

I got admitted in this college thought JOINT ENTERANCE TEST which is conducted by ICAR. In food technology, various techniques regarding the processing, manufacturing and packaging of food products is practiced.I was fond of food industries because in my childhood i watch a tv show named food factory which was telecast on discovery channel.From here i developed intrest in processing and packaging of food products.The scope of this field is very large as food is the basic requirement of every human whether a male or a female,rich or poor, child or adult everyone,so it has a very wide scope.

Our course is mainly divided into 5 departments and the HODs of 5 departments are our lecturers itself.In our college we have 5 permanent faculty and 15 guest faculty.The average age of faculties is around 40 - 45 years. For teaching, the faculty must be a B.Tech holder.
