Remarks

The faculty is very dedicated, kind, motivating and ready to help anytime when we are in need of them.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course and curriculum and exam structure is good. It's based on the choice based credit system (CBCS) given by the university under which our college is functioning. The knowledge acquired is not in particular to industry oriented it's kinda more theoretical based and hence to get more exposed to industry we have attend some internship programm specially during vacations.

Placement Experience

3

There are good number of companies coming for the campus placements but as of my experience and being a mechanical guy the number of core companies coming for placement drives are less. But we get opportunities to attend placement drives of other companies if we are eligible.

College Events

2.5

There are various events being organized by our college for every special occasion the students are very enthusiast in organising any of such events and making it a grand success. The students are very dedicated as well when it comes to organising such events. There are intercollege level events and as well as national level events being organized.

Fee Structure And Facilities

First of all the fee structure is not uniform for a tech branches and it differs from branches to branches. But the mechanical branch has the highest fee structure comparatively. Besides this annual fees the college takes fees for application of exam, stationary fees during exam and for the college fest organized by the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had opted for education loan but that was totally handled by the bank so I hadn't have to worry much about it. Since I belong to the minority community I had applied for minority scholarship thourough national scholarship portal(NSP). Which I found really helpful for my other expenses.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is good but if we have to go to different building blocks we have walk too much except for the two blocks which are near by. The workshops are kinda good but the and also the labs as well. There are no much sports activities which take place but there's a sports day being organized every year.

Hostel Facilities

2

Initially I had, during my first year. The accommodation rooms were quiet good but the food I didn't like at all. So after my first year I shifted to paying guests wherein the food I found was kinda good compared to the hostel one.

Alumni/Alumna

As of now, no such interactions with seniors. I haven't met any alumni. So no such experience to share about basically.

Admission

I got admission into this college thourough KCET. Which is basically held in the month of April May after the 12th exams are over. After the entrance results are announced we are allotted some ranks based on the marks that we have scored. Then as per the ranks and our priority the college is alloted and hence we can take admission if we are interested in that particular college.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties of our college are very good. They have good teaching skills and very helpful as well in times of needs. They not only teach rather motivate us to be the best we can in all ways possible. If in need of any guidance one can just approach them and they are there for you.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
