College management is a bit strict and don't give you holidays even for festival like holi.

In the first year of college every branch of btech has to study basic course of engineering and from the second year all the specialization subject come into place. Exams are held fairly. Pdf and other study materials are also provided to the students for the preparation.

They claim to have 100% placement. 625+ companies visit the campus including 250+ core company. Companies like amazon and google also visit campus and provide super dream packages of over 10lack per annum.

There is a national level techno management fest named aaruush held completely by the students in the odd semester and then there is a cultural fest named Milan held in the even semester. These both are held in a large scale and big personalities visit college during the duration.

If you have a rank less than 10000 in srmjeee you have to give 2.5lack per year and if you have rank more than 10000 and you want to take admission in cse or cse with specialization course then fee becomes 3.5lack per year. They also take other small fees per semester named as examination fee which is around 7-8thousand per year.

No I didnot avail any scholarship but many scholarship criteria is also available like for sports, rank in jee, boards percentage.

Gender ratio is 1:5. A lot of workshops are conducted by many clubs of college which are run by student themselves. Technical and non-technical as well. There is very much differentiation between North and South students (Being a North Indian only thing you don't wish is having a fight with a South Indian). College is filed with many foreign students which gives diversity to the campus.

There are enough room available for students but ac rooms are limited. But actually room with mess is quite expensive. It gives you thouree sharing with washouroom at 2.5 lack per year mess included. Hostel fees varies from 1lack-2.5lack per year according to facility needed like ac rooms and non ac room.

Senior students are very helpful in the college, the campus is completely ragging free. Once you get in a good touch with senior they keep giving you direction on how to gain the maximum.

Thourough srmjeee, It's placement percentage is 100% which made me choose it. It has nice infrastructure and is spread over 250 acres. Scholarship is also provided on various criteria. I had a school senior who studied from here and gave me a nice feedback for the college.

Per week 4hours of classes are held for per subject (theoretical and practical individually). Every subject has different lecturer and are fairly qualified and experienced, it also depend on your luck sometime you might get best faculty and some time you might end up with worst. One more thing local teachers might be a bit partial towards tamil students.
