Entrance Preview
Amity Self Examination. This is a paper based exam held at various centers across Amity for providing seats of various courses in colleges across Amity UniversityThe merit scores are then converted into ranks which prioritizes the rank. My Rank was 1278 which gave me a coveted seat in Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Noida. I have heard about this college before and wanted to take admission in it. It offers good courses and wonderful placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is decided by the university (Amity university) which is same across all the colleges of Amity. A Biotech B.Tech course is divided into 8 semesters with 1st yr (1st and 2nd semester) being common across all branches. The general subjects are Biochemistry, microbiology and enzmology. There are many research articles being published in Amity.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the recruiters like Infosys, Dabur,Pepsico, Biocon etc came for placements and offered summer internships to pre-final year students. Experince was amazing and general stipend varies from 10k-15k.

Placements are good major recruiters like recruiters like Infosys, Dabur,Pepsico, Biocon, Cipla etc are driven and comes every year. Overall recruiters list extends 10-15 each year. The job opportunities are immense and students gets at least one offer before they pass out.
College Events
There are many fests being organised in the college being that technical or managerial. Some of the fests are related to games mania echo-robotics and other areas. Rangoli competition and dance making, freshers parties, DJ nights are a part of fun and excitement.

Fee Structure is quite expensive. The fee structure is decided as per university norms and there can't be any changes to them. There is also a privilege to provide installments in fees and entire fees structure is good. There are many tie up's with several banks like HDFC Bank etc.

No type of gender biasness is observed. Students make good friends and no kind of disparity is observed. There are many workshops being arranged for giving students the different kind of industry exposure, they need several cultural events are also organised.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Rooms are well maintained, neat and tidy with all amenities. There was no mess but a big cafeteria where people can choose food of their own choice. If we talks in terms of quality food was amazing. Apart from cafeteria, there were dominoz, CCd's Baskin and Robbins etc to change your taste.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes college alumni meetings are held every year which encourages them to meet and guide the juniors.
Exam Structure
Exam Structure is set by the university. Semesters exams are normally held in December and May. Total Marks is 100 out of which 40 are passing. One should have minimum number of backlogs to appear in these companies. Minimum attendance of 75% is mandatory for appearing in examinations.
Faculty
Faculty was knowledgeable, well versed with the subjects, well dressed. They are passed out students of prestigious college like IIT's, IIIT's and NIT's. Faculties are well trained and share a good knowledge of subjects. The faculties prepare their students on advance topics set by University and prepare their students with sample papers which help them in appearing the final examination.
