Remarks
I believe they need to work on their fee structure and also infrastructure a bit. Also I believe they need to strengthen and toughen the entrance exam so that good crowd can come in. Rest I believe is pretty decent.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is at par with the top universities across the world. They have assessment every month which ensures that students are focusing on subject matter not just during exams but during the whole year.
Placement Experience
They give you vast opportunities for the placements as mutiple companies each year visit their campus. Many multinationals do visit and hire too. Internship is one thing I believe where they lack. They aren't able to provide internship from college to students.
College Events
There are multiple fests around the year which are organised by students and also almost every festival is too celebrated. They have a very amazing tech fest as well as cultural fest in which colleges around the country take part.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I believe the fee structure is somewhat expensive and they need to work on it. SRM is somewhat a college which can't be afforded by everyone. They charge for everything and that too high. We used to pay they for books also.
Fees and Financial Aid
No clue on this as this isn't clear for most of the students. My friend had applied for scholarship and he had very good cgpa too still he wasn't considered and they did not state the reason for it too.
Campus Life
On extracurricular part I would rate them good as they provide ample opportunity for students to showcase talent in sports. I too represented the college couple of times and had won many tournaments.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are on sharing basis and the condition isn't good. They need to improve on that and also on food. They need to come at par with bits, manipal on this aspect for sure. Food especially has to be worked upon.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are really helpful as they help juniors in settling down. They helped us in knowing the culture of the college and helped us in being disciplined too. I had personally very amazing seniors with whom I have lived.
Admission
They have all India level entrance exam and after that they shortlist people based on the marks they obtain. They appear for counselling session based on which they are alloted branch. Overall it is a easy process and user friendly
Faculty
Most of the faculty is from IITs and I believe they have very decent faculty to be honest. They can still work on this and get more experienced professors to teach. Rest I guess they have a pretty decent one.
