College is good and no doubt it is a best institute for me. But as a state government college the standard is not well developed. They can increase the college standards like other national institutes. If you want to opt for this college go for this institute.

I am currently a student of BUIT, Bhopal students can get this college by giving the following exams/procedure JEE Mains one can get this college upto the rank of 2 lakh MPPET(Now merged with JEE Mains, College level counselling(CLC)-you can get this college for percentage above 75 I made through this college through MPPET 2013. I've chosen Electronics and communication engineering(B.Tech) the college has the best ECE faculty and labs. One can opt for other courses( Mechanical, Civil, Computer Science and IT engineering).I am keenly interested in Electronics branch and I've opted for this course.

The courses which I've pursued are good and interesting. The faculties here are nice and experienced. All faculties are master in their respective fields and are well experienced. The faculty seeks more on practical analysis. Each day you will have 2-4 practical lab periods. The faculties are well qualified and they are present everyday. You can clear your doubts anytime in the free hours. If you are interested in Research and other technical activities you will get a lot of help from the faculties.

You have to opt for open internship as campus internship is not available in the college. If you are interested in internship and on being selected you need to write a letter to the Director/HOD and they will verify and grant you permission of leave for internship.

Only one company visit the closed campus selection i.e. Tata consultancy service (TCS). The package has a range of 2 to 7 lakhs aprox. Students eligibility, Must be in 6th sem, Must have cleared all the backlogs of previous semester exams, Must have a minimum of 60% aggregate. The company will inform the date of online application and form has to be filled online.Then a written test will be conducted by TCS and the shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Candidates who will clear the interview will be given call letter and training.The course for written test varies from time to time. You can get the syllabus at the college or you can visit the TCS website for the syllabus.You can opt for open campus. In open campus a centre will be given and you have to give exam. In open campus students of many colleges appears for test. But the salary offered in open campus is high and can go till 20-30 lakhs. You will get information of the open campus exam in the college notice board. You can also search online.

Our college has one technical festival and one cultural festival. Technical festival is only of college level and it includes many events such as technical drawing, technical rangoli, quiz competition and many more. The event is organized in medium level and only BUIT college students are allowed to participate.Our cultural festival is organized at university level at larger aspect and many colleges under BU university participates in this event. All Students get participation certificate and winners get merit certificate along with trophies.Our college also has a tie up with many prestigious institutions such as IIT Indore, IIT madras and others. These institutes organise workshop and technical events in our college at zonal levels and the event is organized at larger infrastructure.

Scholarships for OBC/SC/ST students are provided by the college. If you fall in these categories you will get the scholarship but the condition is that your family annual income must not be more than 4 lakhs. Every year you will get 30000 INR as scholarship.

The college has seat 60 seats per branch. 20 seats are reserved for female candidates. There is an anti- ragging committee and anti ragging squads. You can directly complaint them and strict action will be taken against the offender. The college has zero ragging and also zero tolerance for ragging activities. The college also has women cell that proves to be more effective for women and girls studying in the college. The college also has minority cell where complaints and suggestions of the minority students are heard and resolved. In the university African are also pursuing courses and in addition a international complaint cell is formed which mainly for the issue of African students. The college has well maintained and working laboratories for each courses. Each laboratory has international standards machines and equipments. College has its own playground and indoor games court. Also the college has a well maintained gymnasium and outdoor games court. Many national and state levels competition are organized and held in the college. Also many cultural and extra curricular activities are available in college like dancing, singing, etc. Many workshop are held in college as i had already described earlier.

Hostels are well maintained and located inside the campus. There are separate hostels for boys, girls, international and Kashmiri students. Each hostel has well maintained twin sharing rooms. Cleanliness is maintained. Hostel is fully Wi-Fi enabled. Each Hostel has it's own mess and the food is hygienic and fresh. Every student can ot for hostel at very cheap rates. Seats are limited and are on basis of pre booking. If you are not able to get hostel then you can stay as PG. There are many private rooms and PG near the college. The location of college is at the main city and you will have access to all the places.The average rate person as PG will be around 3500 per month.

Senior students are helpful and nice persons. They Will readily help you with notes and study material. They will guide you about the campus colonies and college exams' studies. I had asked for notes to my senior and he gave me notes along with books and study materials. I also cleared my mathematics doubts with them in free time. My experience with them is good and I would thank them for their help.
