Entrance Preview

I did not have to give entrance exam as I had B.A. in English Literature degree. There was a written test for others who had applied for this course during their admissions.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Curriculum is changed regularly and is kept updated as per the society and environment. They had introduced a Research paper in Semester 4 which normally is in the syllabus of Ph.D students. So, this paper was a boost for our future. My batch was the first to be introduced to the Research paper.

Internships Opportunities

Internships were introduced in Semester 4 in my course but there was no stipend paid. The department did give internships to students but I applied on my own in an organisation.

Placement Experience

1

There were no placements it was only during internships that the department assisted us with. We had to find our own job opportunities.

College Events

3

Foundation day, Republic day celebrations were held. Vidhartini Sahitya Samelan would be held every year. There was also University exhibition held where stalls were put for each department and you could get information related to it. All this was on the University level and each departments would have their own functions that you could participate in.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are offered to students upon merits and who are from OBC my friend was awarded this.

3.5

There are sports events conducted and many extracurricular activities take place where students come together in-spite of their diversity.
