Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology- An honest review

The college is on the verge of being among top institute in Gujarat, this is from my personal experience because the networking done by the institute is marvellous. Within 10 years Parul should be a great name in education sector, this is because of the strict and disciplianry actions of the college

Course curriculum was satisfactory, nothing much was provided in the curriculum, the same usual pedagogical approach was carried nothing extraordinary. Every year two exams were carried out, one for each semester. In each semester there was an internal as well as external exams followed by viva for each.

The placement opportunities are good. Won't say 100% but all those with good academics got placed. The average CTC ranged around 20-25k oer month. Few of the companies that conducted placements were TCS, Atos, Mahindra, Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, HCL, etc.

Technical as well as cultural festival along with sports meet at institute as well as University and zonal level were conducted, overall events conducted were great. Student participation was extremely satisfactory.

Feasible. Not much on the higher side, compared to the quality of education and infrastructure provided. It was 63000 in 2014 after which every year the fees increased. In my last year the fees went upto 78000.

Education loans are available from different banks where one can easily avail the facilities, almost no scholarships were available during the period i studied there. I wasn't even aware of any scholarships.

Sports meet cultural meet all were pretty good, almost all the festival were celebrated and active participation by the students was maintained, The best festival celebration took place was of navratri. On campus parties were concerts, Dj parties, no parties conducted by students since the colleges had strict hostel norms.

Annual Interaction are held where alumni of the college came to deliver guest lectures, guest speakers almost meet and greet were conducted. Overall the alumni student network was satisfactory. Not many alumni took active participation.

Institute falls under GTU, thus one needs to appear for JEE. Thereafter an application form has to be filled which can be obtained from colleges. To find out about the colleges one can visit the acpc, gtu website, wherein details of nearby venues can be obtained. After this, application number along with password can be obtained from the venue after paying application fees, candidates need to login on the acpc website and then fill in their details, a merit list is obtained after which a mock round is conducted. After the mock round, admission rounds are conducted in which candidate can fill in the colleges they are willing to apply for, results are declared and candidates can confirm their admission. Those who haven't got admission can apply again in the next rounds.

Not all the faculty were upto the expectation, but each department did have great faculties which were very keen in helping and educating the students. Some of them were PhD's while some pursuing phD. The junior faculties had Relevant experience in their fields.
