Remarks

It's a very good college and there is enough time for any student to introspect upon himself to decide upon his career aspects and research well enough to sit for various judiciary and public service examinations.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

It was a chilled affair. Although our library has a state-of-the-art facility which gives us enough resources to research and enough supplements for self study. Not a single student requires any tutor for the same. The course structure is good over a period of 5 years where we are taught over 60 subjects in law ranging from Constitution, IPC, CrPC etc.

Placement Experience

3

Since our college ranks at 7th position among the NLU's, hence its very hard to secure a PPO(Pre-Placement Offer) in the big law firms. Although our Internship cell is very good which recruits most of the students for self-assessment internships at various big law firms. Throughout the year they are active. Stipend varies from law firms to law firms. Minimum is 3 lakh per annum.

College Events

5

We have different fest held annually- Cultural Fest, Sports Fest, Legal Aid Workshops and International Moot Court Competition which includes participation from various colleges in India. Seminar and Guest lectures by imminent faculties and professors are also conducted and are well attended by the Internship and Placement Cell of our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible ranging to about Rs. 1, 39, 000 /- per annum. Hostel fees and Mess fees is included in it. Mess fees is Rs 25, 000 /- (approx.) annually. Various sundry charges that includes Internet fees, Maintenance fees of college, sports fees are all included in this.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college is in link with the scholarship provided by the Uttar Pradesh Government for the socially marginalised caste people who are studying in our college. Their whole tuition fees is reimbursed annually after each year.

Campus Life

5

Extracurricular activities are the best from our college with amazing facilities and proper coaches for each sports as well. Football field, Cricket field, Gym facilities, Olympic size swimming pool, squash court, lawn tennis court, badminton court, table tennis, volleyball court, basketball court etc. After each fest we have parties where the whole college is invited. Gender ratio is good in participation of sports since girls are more involved here in every sports. No discrimination is done on basis of ethnicity, culture, religion while participation in sports, cultural fest etc.

Hostel Facilities

3

For first year students the room is well furnished but would be shared with another person. From 2nd year onwards each student gets his own room. The infrastructure of our hostel room is good consisting of balconies at each room with 2 cupboards, 2 chairs, 2 window (well-ventilated), 1 table.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, Alumnis are of great help since they offer their resources and tries hard to link and network big law firms to our college. Alumnis also help in bringing good sponsorships for college level fest like Sports Fest- Aavahan.

Admission

Since Law is an upcoming profession in India after Doctors and Engineers, Hence it has a huge scope for any person to become an advocate, judge and even give civil services examination. My admission was through a merit list which was prepared after giving my CLAT(Common Law Admission Test) exam in 2015.

Faculty

3

All the faculty members are well prepared. They have done their PhD (in the relevant specialization of law subjects). Some of them have given NET-JRF exam and qualified it to become the professor of our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

LLB course is very beneficial and very earning especially if you are a second generation student. For a first generation for first few years it is somewhat struggling if you want to do litigation.. The course really prepares you well for real life and also it gives you some power to you . Some improvements that can be done in my course in my university is that the subject that is taught in a semester is quite vast in one and quite small in another.Teaching method is quite good . There is mid semester after every two months in a semester and after every five moths there is a semester .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was really very much interested in studying law and doing something good for society at large. Now, talking about the faculty of this college, then it's really nice and supportive along with great qualifications and practical experience. Student to faculty ratio is approximately 1:20 which is not very bad keeping in mind the sheer experience of faculty members. Term exams are conducted by Lucknow University as the college is affiliated to Lucknow University so it's totally the discretion of LU to take exams usually mid sems exams are conducted between Dec to Jan whereas end sems are conducted between July to August. The difficulty of exams is totally dependent on the paper setters of LU but they are not very tough if you studied well and for those who haven't studied well, it's the toughest.
