I applied for eight different college through UGEAC application stands for Bihar Undergraduate Engineering Admssion Counselling I selected first for Katihar Engineering College which is established in 2016 ( then after upgrading my application form I selected Motihari College of Engineering ) . KEC is much new as compare to MCE Motihari which is established in 1980 . Due to old college it has strong alumini base and name. To enter in college, there are different ways just like jee mains examination, BCECE ( Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination ) and mop round counsiling. In my college there are six different course avaliable and the cutoffs for different courses are differ . You may get admission in cse or cse (ai) when you score 75 above percentile. I choose this college beacuse I am not able to get any NITs( Due to because my JEE MAINS Percentile is quite low for that ) and also this college is one of the best college for Mechanical Engneering in all of the Bihar Engineering Colleges. For admission in our college student should have to give either JEE Mains or BCECE ( Bihar Engineering Examination) after that they should apply for respective counselling process( UGEAC for JEE MAINS other wise BCECE ) and student got college with their respective branches according to their rank or percentile. For top branches like CSE or AI in our college general category student percentile should above 85 and for SC ST it is 70 percentile only. Girls also got some special reservations here....Read More

I also applied formechanical Engineering in Muzzafarpur Institute of Technology (MIT) , Muzzafarpur but I have low percentile as requirement for MIT thats why I am not selected in MIT , Muzzafarpur . I named this college after MIT because it is the one of the oldest Bihar Engineering College and also ranked in top 5 Bihar Engineering College that is main reason I selected this college. ` For admission process you have to give exam like JEE MAINS or BCECE ( Bihar Engineering Exam) . After that you go through the respective counselling process means if you are from Jee Mains you have to go UGEAC and if you are from Bihar ENgineering Exam then you have to go for BCECE counselling. I applied for different college in which I also got Muzzafarpur Institute of Technology (MIT) , Muzzafarpur but I don't take admission in MIT because it is far from our residence after that I am being selected for this Motihari Engineering College with CSE-AI branch and I joined this college because it is in our district and almost 13 to 15 Km only from my home. For admission in our college you have to give exams either JEE MAINS or BCECE ( Bihar Engineering) afetr that we have to go for counselling process in which we have to do choice filling . After sometimes counselling result announced and we got college with respective branch accoding to our UR Rank or scores( Percentiles). Cutoffs for CSE , AI like upper branch is around 80 percentile to 90 percentile for OBC and General category and less than 70 are also sufficient for SC ST category. I applied for MUZZAFARPUR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ,Muzzafarpur but I got this MOTIHARI ENGINEERING COLLEGE beacuse I have low rank in JEE Mains and also got CSE(AI) branch here.. Yes I got rejection from other colleges like MIT, Muzzafarpur because I have low rank in JEE Mains and I have to take CSE Branch. Admission Process of our college is so simple .For JEE mains student we have to apply for UGEAC Counselling , fill the choices we want with branches . After somedays result of conselling being anounced for first round admission and after complition of first round admission according to availibility of seats second round counselling round being announced and after second round of UGEAC there is chances for direct BCECE counselling begins for whom who didn't appear in JEE but they appeard in Bihar Enigeering Exam counducted by BCECE. For JEE Students (BOYS - GEN, EWS, OBC) , top three branches of our college have cuttoff around less than 1500 (UR Rank provided from UGEAC counselling). For SC -ST and Girls there is reservation and they got same branch with rank of 3000(UR)....Read More
