Course Curriculum Overview
It's extremely rigourous, vast and challenging. But if you apply yourself properly and allocated a reasonable amount of time, you will make it though without any problems. You will also have to manage your extra-curriculars.
Placement Experience
I've been placed in OYO LIFE, my friend is placed in PUMA, my girlfriend in Cummins. 95% of the internships are great. And everyone gets placed eventually without any problem. The stipend ranges from 50000 and above. (Per month)
College Events
We've got year round events. Utopia - Cultural festival (31st July) Utthaan - CSR event Alchemy - Management Conclave Samaagam - Alumni Connect Event Revelation - Management & Cultural Event TEDxSIBMBengaluru - TEDx event
Fee Structure And Facilities
Total fees are 18 Lakh. Every semester is around 4.5 Lac and varies by 10% based on the hostel or food charges. This is slightly expensive as opposed to other Bschools but SIBM-B makes up for it with its placements and amenities.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers a scholarship program to all the toppers or the top performers in the different specialisations. The scholarship waves off the fees of one entire semester which are around 4 Lakh. The is only given to one student per specialisation.
Campus Life
There are more than ten clubs, 10 committees, all of which perform an important function of the college. The gender ratio is 55-45 boys to girls. We've got international students mostly from the middle East and people from many different faiths and religions.
Hostel Facilities
It's a residential course and all students have to stay inside the campus premises. The fees are included in the semester fees, and they're around Rs. 60, 000 per semester - as mentioned in th fees-breakup.
Alumni/Alumna
We've got an Alumni Committee that specially looks after the Alumni Network of our college. The seniors are a part of the student council that also looks after the progress and discipline of the juniors.
Admission
I chose to do an MBA because I wanted to bump up my career. I had applied to a bunch of colleges, and thankfully I got into SIBM Bengaluru. My percentile was 94% and then want for GEPIWAT process which also went smoothly.
Faculty
We have both internal faculty and external/visiting faculty coming to our college. All have 10-15 years (and above) of teaching and work experience. All them are incredible and apart from classroom sessions, they're also available to solve your queries.
