Remarks
Negative remark goes to the mess food. Though it is healthy but it is tasteless. And the positive remarks goes to the infrastructure and library facilities given by the college. The library is opened for 12 hours all the days.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculties are pretty good and open minded but some labs are little bit hectic and makes us tired. The course which i took is electrical engineering and the equipments are very good and also there is a separte campus for core branches and IT branches which helps in providing a wide range of research activities
Placement Experience
As i am a first year student i personally haven't been able to get any internship till now but i have heared that scopes are there. Placements in SRM are high for IT department and core branches too. Companies like Microsoft, amazon, samsung provides the dream placements.
College Events
Aaruush is one of the biggest technical fest and milan is the 2nd biggest cultural fest which is being celebrated in our campus. Both the fests runs for four days and famous celebrities used to be a part of this.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is completely based on your rank SRM also provides scholarships but if your rank is average then the fee is feasible as compared to other private colleges. If one student comes under category 3 then it is an expensive one.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes there is a loan facilities. The college provides a loan estimate on the time of counseling process and scholarships are given only on the basis of rank. Also they provides scholarships on the basis of the class12th marks
Campus Life
Srm takes part in sports but it dont have proper playground. Extracurricular activities like workshops are excellent over here which are free of cost.It also helps us to learn beyond the scope and develops skills.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is pretty good in terms of infrastructure and cleanliness rooms are spacious too and they are cleaned on the daily basis.Also there is a daily biometric attendance system which restricts a student to stay away from the hostel at the night time and gence takes care of the students.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are very friendly with the juniors those who have knowledge they always shares and this could be done thourough the workshops which are conducted by senior students and passed out students.
Admission
I took SRMJEEE and then on the merit basis admissions are done. Courses are offered on the basis of rank. Also to take an admission one must have 60% above in 12th standard. Unfortunately, SRM University DOES NOT consider your JEE-MAIN scores for their admission process. The main campus of SRM University is located at Kattankulathur and is known as SRM-Kattankulathur/SRM-Main Campus/SRM-KTR.
Faculty
Most of the assistant faculties are passed out from SRM UNIVERSITY only but they have knowledge and senior faculties are from prestigious colleges. The takes their prior interest and they are very regular
