Remarks

There are many good and bad remarks I wanted to share about our college. Good remarks- you will enjoy staying in our college it's a journey. I enjoyed a lot. Bad remarks- by the way, it's a good remark. You will have to face every exams in a proper way.Our college is strict.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exam structure is easy but the only thing is exams happen in this college in every 1 month. Course curriculum is good, you get good grades.

Placement Experience

Placements are amazing, almost everyone here get placed. College provides the internship with the stipend and the over all experience of the college is pretty amazing.

College Events

Basically college organized many events but basically there are two major events happen here culture fest and technical fest known as Aaruuush and Milan mila is super big event as compared to cultural event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's an very expensive college I pay total of 560000 rupees excluding exams fees. Basically it depends on your rank how much you scored if you are under 6000 you have to pay 250000 as a turion fees for a computer science student of it's above 6000 you have to pay 350000 as a turion fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college offer 12th scholarship if you scored above 95% you get scholorship and also you get academics excellence every year.

Campus Life

DJ & Rock Night. Prisma'18, a cultural fest which was organized by our students at SRM University (Delhi-NCR, Sonepat), rocked the crowd with an amazing performance by the DJ Kunaal & the talented Punjabi singer Akhil. Cultural Events. Enviro Club. Quizzers Club. Adventure Club. News Letter: Spectrum and Reflection.

Hostel Facilities

Oven staying in the hostel for the last 2 years. I'm staying in nelson mandela it's pretty good.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

We have pretty good famous alumni seniors are pretty helpful. Seniors are really very helpful in SRM university. There is a strong senior junior relationship. Please be polite to your seniors and give them the respect rhey deserve. Frankly speaking, no one gets time for all these in here, we need to follow a very hectic schedule.

Admission

First of all there's a entrance exam to this college also known as SRMJEE which you have to attend and according to your score you get you choice department (cse, ece, etc) depending on your rank you get the fees.

Faculty

Faculties of SRM IST college is pathetic. Most of the teachers don't have any knowledge of their own subject.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
