Course Curriculum Overview

3

Curriculum is the gathered information that has been considered relevant to a specific topic. It can always be changed or added to in order to become relevant to the times. Curriculum is the goals, assessments, methods, and materials used to teach a particular skill or subject. I include thinking under "skill."

Placement Experience

2

A placement is the sale of securities to a small number of private investors that is exempt from registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission under Regulation D, as are fixed annuities. This exemption makes a placement a less expensive way for a company to raise capital compared with a public offering

College Events

1.5

When you are entering college life after your high school, it means you are entering in a new world. It’s also a first step towards the future, career and upcoming opportunities. College life means new friends, attending lectures and making lots of memories. Sometimes, people mass bunk classes to participate in a movie or to hang out with friends

Fees and Financial Aid

Few college-bound students have the financial resources to pay for their post-secondary education entirely out of pocket. Even students with substantial college savings plans typically find that they are left with sizable amounts of unmet need. The average total cost of attending a public four-year college is more than $20,000 per academic year. Students planning to attend a private college or university can expect to spend more than $30,000 per academic year. A college education is a costly proposition, and all indications are that those costs are only going to increase.

Campus Life

2.5

They can help your child build their skills outside of the classroom. In addition to building skills within a specific discipline, extracurricular activities are great for developing general academic and soft skills. Think debating for public speaking, academic competitions for exam strategies and sport for teamwork.

Alumni/Alumna

Good alumni relationships bring many benefits to both the institution and the alumni. Here we speak to HE professionals who work in Alumni Relations about the benefits of maintaining an engaged alumni network and how the market is changing.

Admission

I have put anna university University and college admission. University admission or college admission is the process through which students enter tertiary education at universities and colleges. In many countries, prospective university students apply for admission during their last year of high school or community college.

Faculty

2.5

The Faculty Advisor provides academic advising and support to advisees from her or his discipline or school. The Advising Center supplements and compliments the central role of the faculty advisor. It provides resources and support to all students and faculty.

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year, they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course. The placement is around 95 percent. My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus. There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

ECE is a core subject in the upcoming technologies like the semiconductor field etc. which is why I chose this branch. VIT has a lot of labs and equipment that enables a person to learn and grasp practical knowledge faster. The teaching methods include using a PPT and using a white board . Sometimes flip classes are done when students explain topics. The 2nd open book test is the toughest in difficulty level when compared to exam 1 and the final test.
