Our college is a fairly good college and a first choice for many people.

In computer science, they teach us subjects related to computer science that provide industry specific knowledge, and are helpful in securing on campus placements. In fourth year there are mandatory internships and industrial visits organized for the students.

There are many companies like google, amazon etc that come to our college. There are companies like tcs that do mass recruitment. Almost all the students are placed through mass recruitment. The college makes sure of it.

There are 2 main festivals celebrated in our college. These are Aaruush and Milan. Aaruush is a technical fest which has many domains and has many events, guest speakers, etc come to the college. Milan is a cultural fest and is one of the biggest fests in India.

For B.Tech., the annual fees for the college are around 2.5 lakhs for ranks below 5000. By getting a scholarship through merit, you can reduce the fees by 25%, 50%, 75% or even 100%. For people above the rank of 5000 the fees are 5 lakhs. For management quota etc the fees are higher.

Yes, the college did offer scholarship opportunities for the students. It depends on the rank of students in the entrance exam, and many other factors. We need to apply for the scholarship during admission, and if we can keep our cgpa up, we can renew it next year too.

There is a fairly good gender ratio in our college. There are many student clubs and associations and they hold many workshops and events. There are students from all over the world in our college, and it is fluid with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

Yes, I opted for hostel for my firat and second year. There are different kinds of hostels available, ac or non ac, 3 sharing or 2 sharing or single room, common washroom or personal washroom, etc. The hostel fees go from 1 lakh to 3.5 lakhs for NRI hostels. The facilities provided by the college are fine, not too good, but enough.

There are alumni clubs in our college, and alumni and senior students are very helpful in guiding us.

I got admission in this college through entrance exam. I always had interest in computer science, so I opted for it. I heard about this institution through my friends and my school. I gave the entrance exam, got a scholarship, so I applied for this college.

There are quite a few lecturers in our college, including profs and assistant profs, aged around 35 average. Some of them are qualified for the subject but many of them are just handed the subject without any knowledge. They come to the class and just read out of the ppt.
