Review for Engineering at Sathyabama University

Very strict management. But will teach you how to become a responsible person.

The B.E for Automobile was of 8 semester in 4 years. First year was same curriculum for all departments. From second year onwards, I was taught the basics of Automobile and hence the 3rd and 4th year. The full course was exciting and consists of lot of practical work and experiments. Although we were all placed at IT companies and the chance of placing at core companies is very limited

Sathyabama uniyis known for placements. Around 70percent of students in my year were placed at the mass recruiting IT company, like Wipro, cognizant, Infosys and HCL. Dream company also took several students. The reason for placements was good placement cell and preparation by our college and the services were free of cost.

Cultural fest organized every year and in this fest movie stars are invited. There are other inter college tests organized by different departments throughout the year. Automobile department had organized the Automobile show where all the exotic cars were invited from Chennai.

College provides full transparency in breakdown and there is no additional fee charyfor events. Fee was collected in terms of challan by banks. Fee was feasible. the fee included transportation, food, placement training, and industrial visits, lab costs.

I got scholarship based upon my performance in semesters. Being a son of Tata employee, I used to get 10k for scoring 70 percent above each year

Campus life is very strict and you will not get any relaxation if you make a mistake. Gender ratio is equal except at mechanical departments. And people from all over the country come here. A lot of workshops, cultural fest are organized throughout the year by different department. There is no place for politics here and is strictly governed by the directors of institution.

No I haven't. I used to live with my elder brother who is also my senior in a rented apartment costing around 8k per month. I used to live at pallavakam, at ecr. You will get college provided bus from ecr at regularly.

Colleges invites alumni and seniors to conduct placement sessions and will give you advice on how to crack the interview. Interaction occurs for everyone in the 6th semester.

My brother was senior of the college and told me to give all india entrance exam. After scoring decent marks, i was asked for the department. Since Sathyabama University is top for B.E in Automobile, I chose Automobile department. The admission process was smooth and staff guides us well.

4 years consists of 8 semester. Each semester has around 5 to 6 subjects. 1 years will be common for all department. the faculty are very approchable, and highly qualified. They are friendly and provides us the notes that are accurate. They also help in clearing the doubts anytime.
