Remarks

Every college or university will have their own prons and cons. I would like to share my only good things happend in my college life

Course Curriculum Overview

As the college is autonomous exams are conducted in campus. We had a very good library where we can get some good knowledge. Free style education is all what we followed in Our university. Really a very good and nice experience which i can proudly say I am a student of SRM University

Placement Experience

We have a very good placement cell. Almost all the students in engineering holds with 2 offers and or one atleast in well known reputed mnc’s

College Events

Milan and aarush are the big fests followed by regular in campus festivals like for onam we have a fest. Magic shows live music conserts student hackathon, air show robotic call, live demos or sessions for techies around the world. Student interactive sessions with the corporate persons.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Quite expensive as it is a well reputed organisation we meed to give a fansy amount for all the courses offered by university. But if we got some good percentage in the entrance exam then there will be discounted price for the student in joining semester and all will be eligible for the student scholarships

Fees and Financial Aid

I havent opted to any scholar ship program as i got my seat in Management quota. I dont know about the scholarhship Pay offered by the university

Campus Life

Its a freestyle culture we follow in out university. We have a very good rapo with the fellow students who are pursuing the course with me. Knowledge sharing chatting long drives birthday parities farewell with seniors support of seniors in college placements to be mentioned as a good part

Hostel Facilities

No i havent opted for hostels we had a very good canteens. We got 20-30 canteens approx, with all varieties of good available throughout the college timings. The most famous one is Java green where we can have a sip of nice filtered coffee

External Expense: Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna

Got really good support for seniors and utmost care from the faculty. SRM have been a good milestone which can be discussed in my life

Admission

Got to know about SRM University through my cousin. Have appeared to entrance exam and scored some good rank in it. Paid some decent fee for my post graduation in DBS of Information Technology. Got the confirmation immediately about the seat and the date of joining the day I paid my semester fee

Faculty

Faculty are so cooperative that if we have any queries regarding the semester subjects we can contact them in person and they will guide you. Suggest the books we need to refer, softwares how do we operate. Live sessions from the techies around the world.

Helpful Internships with Practical Exposure

Likes

Experienced and supportive faculty who guide well in both theory and practicals. They are approachable for doubts and research guidance.
Well equipped chemistry labs, library and clean campus. Good infrastructure for science students with modern instruments and facilities.
Safe women-only campus with good campus life. Regular seminars, workshops and events help in overall personality and career development.

Dislikes

Being a girls college, exposure to mixed-gender events and industry networking is less compared to co-ed colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It covers all core Chemistry subjects with good lab work. I chose this course for strong academics and research scope. The syllabus helps for higher studies and competitive exams like NET, SET. Practicals help in real applications. Exams are held each semester. Difficulty is moderate and most students clear easily,More workshops and industry training can be added for improvement.

My Experience at Nirmala College for women

Likes

The main thing I like about the college is discipline.
All my teachers were good and guided and motivated all in a right way.

Dislikes

The main improvement needed is the placement and recruitment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very well structured. Some modern methods can be implemented like smart class. We'll have exams every month.Internal exams will be for 2 hrs and semester exams for 3 hours. The difficulty level of exams will be on an average scale.

Best of my life

Likes

Every Thursday we had moral instruction classes .this session very useful for me and personally improved my strength
Very different teaching methods,they explained the topic short and easy point that are very easy to understand quickly.
I loved my library lot of books is there, maintanence...very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Lot of job opportunities including medical and chemical field..I would like to say to improve instumental area .I didn't face any difficult level because..our faculty members already guided me how to face all struggle situation and how to write exam..

Worst colleges in Chennai -WCC

Likes

Exams can be usually easy as this is a five year integrated course
Some faculties are friendly as they themselves are fresh graduates

Dislikes

But most faculties come off very rude and disrespectful
The office people are not at all approachable
The student login has so many glitches which cause delays in downloading of hallticket

According to me, there is no bad opinion about my department. But some other department people told there is some lack of knowledge from department lecturers. Because they are very new to the lecturer job.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam. The reason why I chose this course was because my family friend also joined here for architecture and she said the placements are top notch and it provides multiple opportunities abroad I got rejection from IISER because I failed in entrance exam.
