Remarks
The College on the whole is a very good place to study. It is a place of many opportunities where students can discover or rediscover themselves. The quality of students are excellent as well. Everyone gets along just fine.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is pretty good. We have both lab and theory. Exams for the same as well. First we have theory exams followed by practical exams. Then later model exams and model practicals and finally final exams and final practicals
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are great here. We get many dream companies and others with a lot of different packages for students. We get companies like Microsoft and Amazon, etc. Some select students are offered with 30+ lakhs per annum
College Events
We have 2 main fests in our College. One is a tech fest called AARUUSH and the other is a cultural fest called Milan. We also a have our own MUN called SRMMUN which gets more than 1000 delegates. We have small events as well on and off
Fee Structure And Facilities
We have one main fee for tuition paid every year. On top of that we have a final exam fee. We have an online portal to pay said fees. Since it is a private College, the fees are slightly high. And if it is paid late there is a late fee
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a scholarship option based on merit of entrance exam. There is also one based on the results of each year. For those who are not financially stable there are loan options to ease their life and stress in education
Campus Life
There are many opportunities in this College. We have many clubs students can partake. Both boys and girls participate in these clubs. They help organise events throughout the campus. Everyone is welcome to be a part of it.
Alumni/Alumna
Having contacts with senior students is somehow very helpful. From my experience senior students could help us by providing study material and guide us through. They can also counsel is so that we could make better decisions and henceforth be successful in whatever we strive to achieve.
Admission
Applied for it, wrote the entrance exam, got called in for choosing a course and chose CSE. After that I had to pay a small fee before the main tuition and later the hostel fees. Much later, I had to submit documents for enrollment.
Faculty
The faculty is very good. They have a thorough understanding of the subjects and it's concepts. They are able to keep the attention of the students for a long amount of time and are able to help students retain this knowledge.
