Remarks

Positive remarks: Sports activities, social interactions, extracurricular activities, various events, fully functional labs. Negative: Need improvement in placement, academics should be more research oriented, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is good but not much research oriented. Exam pattern is better than many of the Colleges, Major Semester exams of 70 marks at the end of semester and minor semester exam of 20 marks in the mid semester. Labs are fully functional but teachers don't guide guide most of the times.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are not good here, although there is an entire placement cell dedicated to it, to guide the students. College do provide internship but only for a few students and those are also not good. I haven't done any yey Generally service based company visit the campus. Product based are very few.

College Events

4

Sangathan: Annual sports event of 8-10 days between the teams of various departments. CyberCup: 3 days technical event, it has coding, problem solving, hackathon, etc. Confluence: 3 days event where various foreign professional also visit, everyone get a chance to publish their research papers. Amity youth fest, fresher's party and mostly all the festivals are celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive I don't exactly know the detail figures but each semester fee is of 160000 so 320000 annually. Also every year it increases by 7500 so next year it would be 177500 for each year. It is too much compared to other Colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Thers is 50% academic scholarship for 90 percent about marks in 12th boards and 100% if 94 percent and above. Other than that there is sports scholarship details are provided on their website. Amity also has tie up with 3 banks for loan.

Campus Life

4.5

Extracurricular activities are very good there is team from every department for all games like cricket, hockey, tennis, badminton, swimming, football, basketball, table tennis, tug of war, etc. Also there are 2 dance groups, a debate group, a acting group, singing groups, ngo group, etc. Gender ratio is 2:1 boys to girls in my course. Students diversity is vast, there are many students from south part, north east states, jammu & Kashmir etc There is not at all discrimination on any factor and there are very strict rules against ragging.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes I opted for A.C. hostel. Infrastructure is very good but food is not included, laundry included. Everyone has single room followed by a common room for 4 persons. Room size is average. You have to pay on a daily basis for food in cafeteria. Many PG's are there in nearby area they are also cheaper than hostel. 10000 per month is average in case of PG's including food and laundry.

Alumni/Alumna

Amity organises alumni meets every year for interactions and they are helpful. Also seniors helps in many projects and guide us for coming semesters. But there are all kinds of senior, some of them helps while others are busy with themselves.

Admission

Fill admission form online, followed by entrance test. Visit College once before starting of semester. All other details will be available on there website. You will get an full working account on amity servers for all the details.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are highly qualified no doubt but some of the faculty has no interest in teaching. I think there is a luck factor if you will get a interested faculty for a subject or not. At the end it's depends on your own efforts for the subject.

Campus placement is not that good. Hardly 2-3 companies come here for foodtech. But there are job opportunities for this course. It is a growing field. Outside the campus, if applied in any company, there are chances of selection based on the skills and knowledge one has related to the field
