Facilities present in the college

The college is overall good but it is quite old fashioned. The lectures are well educated but very strict towards the students.

The course is an engineering course but it is mostly concentrated on how engineering technology affects agriculture in India. The course is divided into 8 semesters (two semesters per year). The subjects which are taught are mainly based on practical approach. We perform real life applications of the ideals in the field. We also have many industrial visits in our educational tour to the industries such as food processing industry, irrigation industry, packaging industry etc.

Placement in very less in my college as most of the students are interested in higher studies such as M.tech and MBA. But still tractor companies like Mahindra Motors and John Deere visits the college in search of recruitments.

Many events are celebrated in the college. Cultural festivals like Shiv Jayanti and Ganesh Chaturthi are arranged by the students. Many other big events such as Annual Gathering, Sports week and Parents day are also organised by the students. College organizes competitions such as Tifan and Avishkar which helps students to learn and develop their skills in other areas as well.

The college in total has 8 semesters and each semester has a fee of around Rs 13000-14000 for open category student. The fee is less for reserved candidates and girl students. There are many scholarship programs such as Central sector and jandhan for reserved candidates. For people who got admission from ICAR there is scholarship provided by the central government.

No I have not opted for any scholarship or education loan but if anybody want to study with education loan they can.

The University is situated way away from the city and has a very big campus. The campus is planted with many trees which makes the atmosphere pleasant around it. We have a big ground for sports and we also have gymnasiums for students. Female students are safe inside the campus. We are having good water facilities.

The alumni of the college is a very big community. The college is over 50 years old therefore it has many great passouts. They come to the college once in a while and helps the students in every possible way.

I gave an entrance exam four months prior to the admission. I gave the exam conducted by ICAR in May then i received a email from ICAR that i am selected for counseling in August, in which I got the respective college. Then I went to take admission in the college in the month of September.

The faculty of the college is well educated and well trained. They have a vast knowledge of the subject and years of experience in the field. They take a sufficient amount of lectures in a semester which are enough to get the knowledge of the subject.
