Remarks

My college has developed itself a lot. We became autonomous, we are in the top 10 colleges of Mumbai. Also we have a student ecchange program. Overall the college is very good and the environment is very nice. The crowd is also very well spoken and are from goid families. I would recommend people to come here for their studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As our college has become autonomous. My course curriculum is more practical then theorotical. We have our own subjects and those subjects will be very helpful in our career life. Our exam structure is 60 externals and 40 internals. We have 2 exams per semester and a project submission (that maybe presentation or some practical work). The project is of 20 marks and then we have a unit test of 20 marks. At the end of the semester we have 60 marks paper.

Placement Experience

4

My college provides placements to the students. As we have different events related to career counselling. We have guests that are looking for fresh talent. We had Gillet, Nestle, etc. Also Yes, my college provides internship and the stipend depends of the work profile.

College Events

5

We have alot of events in our college like Chakrawyuha an inter college event that is for 3 days. The first day is full of competitions like short film, dance, band, treasure hunt etc. The second day is a live concert by big celebrities (Darshan Raval, Jonita Gandhi, Aditya Narayan and many more) the third day is prize distribution day. We also have intra college event where different courses compete with each other. We have Antarang, Kheltarang, Annual Day, Sports Day etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our fee contains k - school, gym, donations, books, library, computer lab, blazer, IV trips etc. wvery class has AC so they charge for that. For workshops, talks, competitions etc. As per my viewpoint, the fees they are cgarging is slightly ecpensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college offers scholorship for the studenta who can't afford to paya the whole amount for which they have to submit required documents. After the documents are submitted the college sponsors the particular students half fees and the rest is paid by the students itself.

Campus Life

4.5

We have a computer lab, science lab, gymkhana, studio, auditorium, multipurpose hall, library. Our college have a complaint society where if anyone is having complaint regarding anything or anyone can register their complaint and the action is taken immediatly. Our college has zero violence tolerance. They cannot tolerate ciolence in the premises. Also its a very free environment for the students to talk openly. There is as such ho racism in our college.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Our college does not have a hostel. But if it would have I am sure that the ambience and the facilities will be good enough. It will be very hygenic. There would be gaurds, CCTV cameras, etc facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are very helpful. Our main event that is CHAKRAWYUHA is organised by our alumnis and we have a after party for the volunteers of the event. The connection of the aluminis and the college is very strong. They still visit college hang out with their juniors, teachers etc.

Admission

I applied in the particular college and later I was waiting for the merit list to come. When My name appeared in this college. I went to their official website and filled out the admission form and paid the fees online. After a day or two I went physically to visit the college and submitted the hardcopy of the documents required (adhaar card, cancelled cheque, admission form, id card form, 10th/ 12th results). Later I got a confirmation receipt.

Faculty

4

The teaching and the non - teaching faculty are very nice and well spoken. They follow rules that are associated with them. Also the maintain the decorum of the college. The relation of every students with their teacher is very healthy. There is a open space so that we coukd dicuss our doubts and problems.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.
