Review about my college

Positives: Good infrastructure, Less Fees, Good Faculties, More facilities, Extra curricular Activities Negatives: Should focus more on placements. Bring more companies. Every year, placement % is decreasing gradually.

In every sem, there will be 3 labs. Weekly 1-2 experiments will be conducted in each lab. Course curriculum is good. One can get Theoretical knowledge, but that is not enough. Practical knowledge is imporant.

Placements are good. But the companies who comes for placement selects a min of 2 and max of 5, which is very less when compared to the students who attends the placements. Management should bring more companies.

We have two college festivals. One is intra college fest AGNI which will conducted in the odd semester. Other one is Inter college fest TECHOFES which is one of the popular college fest in the city. Also, every dept. conducts a symposium, in which workshops and events related to dept. will be conducted.

Rs.8000 per semester. There will be eight semesters. So, around Rs.65,000 is enough for a student to complete the course. This is very feasible for a middle class family. There is also Industrial quota seats, where fee structure is above a lakh per semester.

I have availed Tamil Nadu State Scholarship of Rs.14,000 per year. For 4 years, one can get Rs.56,000/- as scholarship. I have less knowledge about Loans availability. But my friends have availed loans.

We have NSO for Sports. In that, many sports will be conducted and selects the good sports person. In sports, comparitively girls participation is less than the boys. We have Students Association and Art Society for college fest.

25k per Semester. Rooms will be neat and tidy, and it has 4 sharing, 3 sharing, 2 sharing and single bed rooms. So many hostels are there in my college. There is separate hostel available for NRI students.

There will be No ragging in our college. The anti ragging Norms are strictly followed. We had more interaction with the seniors through NSS, NSO, College fest, Department Symposiums etc. They guided me to get placed in a good company.

I got Admission through 12th Marks Merit list. Firstly, they will release the Rank list according to the applicants marks scored in 12th public exam. Then, they will announce a slot based on the Rank list. On that slot, one should attend the admission process, and select the college & course of their interest.

Faculties in my College are really good and qualified. Most of the faculties are Professors and Assistant professors. Faculties are always friendly towards the students. Students can clear their doubts anytime.
