My campus life at MIME

International masters program was one of the finest ventures of our institute which triggered the blending of different cultures. The MIME college believes in the celebration of life and almost all the festivals are celebrated with utmost joy. My personal favorite was the Christmas Eve dinner. All of our labs were digitized and had all the advanced tools for an advanced learning experience.

The course curriculum was updated as per the latest trends in the market. Our college is one of the pioneering colleges to offer a PGDM in International Business. For the first two semesters, we learned about the general management subjects like management and financials of a company. During the third semester, our curriculum was more oriented towards the specialization part. Our course structure was carefully curated to provide a proper blend of fun and learning.

Our college has an impeccable placement record. From my batch, 90% of the students were placed. Some also went for their own ventures or to join their family business. The highest package in our institute was around 4 LPA which is on par with other B-Scholls in Bangalore. Mercedes, TCS, Virtusa, IBM were some of the companies which came for the placement drive at our campus during my batch.

My total course fee was a little less than 9 lakhs, which was to be paid on a semester basis. The fee structure was expensive for me but the facilities they provided us were exceptional. We also got to go on some field visits, which was also included in this package and there were no hidden charges.

Our institute offers accommodation facilities at pretty nominal charges. My monthly hostel fee was 8k excluding food charges. Rooms were available on a double sharing basis and they had regular connectivity of water, wi-fi, and electricity. Our stay was pretty comfortable at the hostel. I made a lot of friends and created some of the best memories of my life.

The entire admission process is pretty stringent. I applied to the college via online mode. My CAT scores were pretty good and uploaded the documents with my application. After getting shortlisted I was invited for the interview round which was pretty intense. They grilled me on the topics from my graduation and my managerial skills. Overall, it went well and I was granted admission.

All of our faculty members were adequately qualified and supportive. They all had a plethora of corporate experience under their belt. Especially the big data faculty panel was very much talented and they prepared us to extract useful data from a large set of data. Faculty to student ratio was only around 1:5, which enabled the professors to allocate adequate time to each student.
