Course Curriculum Overview
The MBA course curriculum was pretty basic and detail-oriented. My specializations were in HR and marketing. I learned a lot from the curriculum, especially how to relate different aspects and resource management, employee management. Along with the core subjects, we also studied some of the elective subjects as well.
Placement Experience
Our college has strong corporate tie-ups with companies from a diverse background. Some of these companies were like Adani, Aditya Birla, Asian Paints, Amazon, Airtel payments, etc. Most of the students got a salary package in the range of 25-50k per month. While some even secured a job with a salary of around 75k per month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For the first year, I paid around Rs. 4,15,000 and for the second year I paid around INR 370,000 which was heavy on my pocket. I didn't want to put an extra burden on my family, hence I took a student loan. Overall paying such a hefty fee, felt worthwhile it in the end.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are awarded by our college on a merit basis. Applicants have to apply at the time of registration. Scholarships offered by our college is solely dependent on the academic performance of the applicants. One such scholarship is the Government of India National Merit Scholarships. Additionally, students belonging to a reserved category are eligible for availing a relaxation in the fee. One of my batchmates availed fee relaxation since she was from an OBC category.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni meet was organized on an annual basis in our institute. Sri Balaji Society is responsible for organizing and coordinating with alumni, in order to provide students a platform to share ideas and interact with the alumni. Alumni visit our campus in order to interact with the students, resolve queries, and even mentor students. All of them shared their personal journey and aspirations which was very inspiring.
Admission
The entire selection process for the MBA program is pretty lengthy. I gave MAH-CET, which was pretty basic for me. Later, I was invited to the interview round. When I look back, I feel lucky that I was able to crack the interview round. I opted for this particular institute since it is closer to my home and I was able to give sufficient time to my home and college.
Faculty
All of our faculty members were very much qualified and to an extent they all were supportive. They had knowledge beyond the course structure. They all had many relevant degrees ranging from MBA, M. Phil., even there were some phd holders as well. They also possessed an ample corporate experience which was like a first-hand experience for us.
