Remarks

The college needs to employ more qualified people and practical education has to be boosted.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course gave us a deep understanding of the past, present and the future about our studies and the profession we were supposed to enter. The curriculum is enough for any student to get the knowledge required for this course and profession. But, the curriculum needs to be more practical oriented to provide students with knowledge about the profession which I saw was missing during my studies.

Placement Experience

0.5

Red Fm, Radio Mirchi, Dsp solutions were some major companies which visited the campus for their placement drive. General interviews were conducted by these companies. The institute did not take any step to ensure the placement of the students for jobs, but the college has taken steps to ensure to provide students with an internship at different companies based on the choices of students.

College Events

2.5

Journofest is the annual event held at the institution. The institution has had almost 75-80 guests for the guest lectures at the institution. The college has also organized national conferences on different subjects every year. The biggest event that is celebrated in our college is the Aurangabad International Film Festival. Students have shown great interest in all the events organized by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The students have to pay the fees at the start of their semester. When we joined the college we were allowed to pay the fees in cash, but later it became compulsory for all to pay the fees by DD (demand draft). The institution charges the students extra for uniform and semester examination fees. The college provides transparency in the breakdown of the fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college by themselves did not offer any scholarships to the students. The scholarship available for the students were only government scholarships.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is very good when on the MGM campus as it is very green and natural with an ample amount of space to sit and relax in free time. The college has a full-fledged library, two computer labs, television studio, community radio, sports complex, canteen. The gender ratio is pretty better than many colleges I've seen. Most of the students hail from a very humble background and mostly from the rural background as well.

Alumni/Alumna

No such alumni network is present in the college. The current students learn about their seniors' carriers by having personal contacts only.

Admission

The course which I opted was very rare and was dedicated and designed for the study of my interest. Another benefit with this course was that the curriculum was recognized by UGC and was supported by UNESCO. The institution which I opted for had all the requirements that a student would need for her/his studies and would benefit her/him for the foreseeable future.

Faculty

2.5

There were 4 lecturers per semester in all the 6 semesters throughout the course. The average age of the lecturers would be around 40 and most of them had a masters degree and a few of them had a doctorate in this profession and were principals of other colleges. Some of the professors were top in the field and provided us with all the insights about the studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The English Department faculty is renowned in the entirety of Mithibai. The course curriculum is adequate, so I wouldn't want to change much about it. We have carefully planned out the teaching methods employed in our classrooms every year. One of our teachers, for example, would like us to read the material one or two days prior to the day we would discuss it on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty really impressed me so it made learning about psychology even fun and easy to understand They used to have activities based on the current topic so that students get a grip of it in reality Other than that of psychology the other faculties were a little dull so maybe that can change There are 4 exams along the year 2 unit tests and 2 semesters unit being mcq's and sem being for subjective briefings

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in Psychology which is why I opted for this course. Social psychology was especially very interesting to me. The curriculum is good when it comes to future prospects of giving competitive exams. However, it doesn't prepare you a lot for real-life applications as much. The course can definitely include more practical experiments which would make the subject more interesting. Better assignments/projects would also be beneficial. The exams were twice in a year. They weren't very difficult and easy to clear if one studied the portion well. However, I do feel that the exam pattern could be more application-based.
