Entrance Preview

SRM conduct their own entrance test (SRMJEE). I scored 90 out of 100. I opt SRM as I have heard of its rankings , infrastructure, placements.

Internships Opportunities

No internship offered. But you will get placed in some IT companies like TCS, WIPRO ,INFY, Accenture. I think each company take more that 1000 + students. If you don't have paper backlog its sure you will get placed.

College Events

Lots of events are celebrated in collage like Aarush(technical event), Milan(cultural event), many robotics events etc are celebrated. It's sure you will get lots of opportunities to show your talent.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's expensive. For me it was 1.5 lakh per annum .

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes you get scholarship if you perform well in your semester and constant performer get scholarship every year. Depending on your results you get scholarship.

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
