Remarks
Praxis Business School is one of the best private institutes in southern India for an MBA. I am in the final semester of my MBA program and I have positive reviews about the college. My experience was good in terms of academics and overall campus life. Infrastructure and the Faculty was the highlight of the time I spent here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is developed very well with a proper review of the syllabus done periodically and updated to keep abreast of the latest requirements of the industry and academia. The course also covered analytics and digital marketing, which are not taught by other institutes. It has a good reputation in Kolkata. It also makes a person equipped for future challenges and nuances of the corporate world lying ahead.
Placement Experience
The placement is good at my college. The average package for our college is around INR 3 LPA, with the highest package going as high as 9 LPA. Companies like NPCI, PWC, HSBC Bank, LTFS, IDFC First BANK, etc. frequently visit our college.
College Events
Various people from different fields interact with the students giving their insights regarding various aspects of life. Every event organized is a learning experience. It can make a student improve her self confidence and courage. Many sporting events including the sports day is celebrated in our college. Cultural dances are also performed periodically, in order to maintain a balance between academics and cultural learning.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My first-year fee cost me around INR 419,000, while for the second year I paid around 338,000 Rs. In total, I paid around INR 7.5 lacs. The fee was nominal, but I expected more facilities from them. So far it is going good. Since no other institute teaches you digital marketing and analytics.
Admission
I took admission to the MBA program at Praxis Business School on the basis of the CMAT Scores. I was called for the counseling round, which was a lengthy business. The essay writing test was easy, I went unprepared for the psychometric test. Then a panel of three people took my Interview. After that, I got admission to the college.
Faculty
Our department was best in terms of incorporating teaching with practical knowledge. All faculty members had a plethora of corporate experience which they shared with us. It helped us in getting an insight into the corporate culture in advance.
