Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was very unique and was customised to establish an in-depth understanding of the financial business management. Course spanned over 2 years and it was divided into 8 semesters, four semesters each year. We studied financial accounting, quantitative techniques, forecasting techniques, etc. Every semester we studied 6 subjects all of which worth 100 marks each.
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty great here. Most of our pass-outs are placed in brokerage firms, NBFCs, mutual funds companies, while some of them are also placed in the financial department of companies from different sectors. Average packages ranges from 3.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA, while the highest package which secured by a student from our branch was 9 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Total course fee was around 95k, which is pretty nominal for a master's program, let alone with a finance specialisation. Our fee structure was very flexible and decent and even day-to-day expenses were also pretty nominal. Canteen provide healthy food at a reasonable price.
Fees and Financial Aid
Top 3 University Position holder are awarded a scholarship worth 20,000 INR. Apart from that, our university also offers fee concession for the students from a financially challenged background. And as per government norms students belonging to a reserved category are offered a relaxation in the tuition fee.
Admission
Admissions are offered on the basis of merit in the entrance exam scores. I purchased the form for a 1000 INR and applied with my MAT exam scores and other academic details. I was shortlisted for the GD/PI round and after clearing those rounds, I was granted admission to the college.
Faculty
Faculty was very supportive and qualified. They all had a plethora of experience, either in teaching or in corporate. They all taught us from the financial perspective, teaching us little tricks and challenges which we could face in a real life scenario. They all made learning, fun.
