Remarks

Good thing is that it is in Delhi NCR so industrial benefits one may take.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Syllabus of up technical examination is a bit difficult and also answer paper being checked is also difficult. So here the only option left to us was to study being a mechanical engineer the syllabus is difficult so. Yup, overall it was difficult. The curriculum provided to us was good and industrial visits were also included.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement for mechanical engineering is not great in most of the institutions in India so similar was the scenario with us also.

College Events

3

Freshers' party will be conducted every year. Quiz program will be conducted every year and a few interstate programs of the quiz will also be taking place. Farewell parties will also be taking place every year and so these are some of the important things that took place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is okay as far as the private colleges are considered a bit higher honestly but okay. And we do have an option of scholarship and they do provide scholarship for the weaker category of society and few of my classmates have got a scholarship and i know them personally.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't apply for a scholarship but it was basically for poor segments of society my father is a railway employee so i wasn't eligible.

Campus Life

2.5

People were basically from West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Uttarakhand.but main chunk of students were from Uttar Pradesh and Delhi followed by Bihar and Jharkhand afterward few of them were from West Bengal, Uttarakhand.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network is not that strong but it is building well nowadays so we can expect the network to grow stronger down the line.

Admission

I got admission via aieee examination conducted got 59000 rank in 2013. Located in Delhi NCR so companies are there in Delhi. So it would be favorable to take admission over here. Intake is basically done via a UP entrance examination and afterward, counseling takes place.

Faculty

2

Faculties were okay. Not great but few faculties were excellent. They had great information about the industry and so they can help you visualize what actually happens in an industry so they did teach well but that was only fir a few important subjects.

Students become eligible for placement from the 6th semester, and a mix of IT, consulting and service based companies visit with multiple entry levels offers. The students also get to apply to a degree that will be available for them in a specific area placed. My plan after the degree is to focus on implementing my skills and aim for better opportunities outside campus.
