SCOE review

College is very strict regarding who enters the campus. For example, even the students find it difficult to make it into the campus without having a proper I-card. Hostels are located inside the campus and the in times are 7 pm for girls and 10 pm for boys. Also the college is quite stubborn by not allowing the students to sit in pair of boy and girl.

SCOE used to follow the Savitribai Phule Pune University curriculum,but recently it has opted for Autonomy. So it has its own syllabus board and syllabus. The exams are not very tiring and are scattered over the course of semester.

Placements are quite good and many companies do come to campus for recruitment. Final year students may find a job of 1.8 to 6 lpa easily in campus placements. On an average students get 2.4 to 3 lpa annual packages. Internship support though, is not very good.

College celebrates annual social gathering in the second semester of year. Also music and dance nights are held in the first semester. The College also holds an internal or national level tech-fest almost every semester.

The annual academic fees is almost 1.35 lacs for open category students. The fees are more considering it is a rural college but as compared to other autonomous colleges it is quite low. Hostel and other expenses will cause an additional 50000 expenditure.

The students can apply for reserved category scholarships provided by government of maharshtra. Students can also apply for various Hostel and other expenditure scholarships. One can easily get education loan from any nationaized bank.

Sanjivani encourages many sports and games for participation in inter college events. Many students have made it to university level competitions. College especially excels in Baseball. Many interdivison and interdepartment events are organised as well.

Sanjivani has a very strong alumni network and many of them are working at high posts in MNCs or have their own companies. College usually arranges alumni guest lectures so as their experience may help the students in their life.

You have to appear for either MHT-CET or JEE Entrance examination. The College offers seats through Common Admission Process held by DTE MAHARASHTRA for the engineering admissions. You do not have to face any type of additional rounds and admission is given only on the basis of merit scores in entrances.

The faculties are quite educated and qualified. The teachers have completed their Post graduation in their respective fields and have applied for the study of doctorate. Teachers are very supportive and serious about academics.
